I took the day off work for my birthday. Been babysitting my 10-yr-old goddaughter while her grandma (who is raising her) is in California for her youngest daughter's graduation with a master's degree in speech pathology.

Took her to school this morning, and after school I'm driving her to Des Moines to drop her off at her mom's, then head for my kids' house to spend the night and play with Granddoody. :D

In the interim, well I dunno. Just gonna goof off and play games. Watered my garden already. Have an appt at 1 to FINALLY get my CPAP, so that will be interesting.

Otherwise, just going to enjoy the first day of my 58th year.

My mother had to call me last night to tell me allllll over again about when I was born. I can recite it word for word.

Then this morning I went with my kids and Granddoody to his friend's birthday, Heidi. I posted a picture once of Granddoody being kissed by a cute little girl. That's Heidi.

Anyway, it was fun watching the kids and Granddoody had a blast.

Yes, he's a sweet little monster. Very head strong, to say the least.

But I got 3 big hugs around the neck and kisses planted on my lips by him and he called me gramma loud and clear.
