That is amazing! I love cats :-)

mrsD 09-18-2014 02:34 PM

I agree Andy.... I think cats are wonderful for people who are
ill or of limited mobility. Ours just love attention and games, and now understand lots of language too.

They keep us laughing and divert pain and depression IMO.
It is no wonder that so many YouTubes are cat videos!

I love photographing ours... there is no end to what I can find them doing! (check my profile albums and you will see many cat
protraits.) ;)

My little girl is only ten weeks old & has me in stitches every day. She is the first thing that has made me genuinely smile for almost three years... I take photos of her sleeping all the time & she is the only photos I have on my iPhone, lol... She is currently asleep on my chest... I love her so much already...

Edit: Just had a quick look at your photos, & great pics :-)

anon1028 09-18-2014 08:07 PM

post some photos of your cat.

mrsD 09-18-2014 10:37 PM

I have my Weezie on my phone startup page. I smile
Every time I turn it on ;)
We had 3 cats that lived a long time. 24, 20 and then the 14 yr old got cancer... When they died in a row so close together
It was very painful for me. But Weez has been a joy .. She was not chosen when the kittens in her litter went to various homes.
So I saw the ad on Craig's list and snapped her up. We have
Had black cats before. She really has turned out amazingly
Well, and very very intelligent! She helped both of us thru
The loss and grief with the others.

Thanks Mrs D. That was so cute!

cats are GREAT for people who are home more than they choose to be. my cat is my little buddy.
he still gets scared of my voice when he is playing with giflfriend...I don't know why, I treat him with kid gloves, and he loves me rubbing his belly with legs in the air :)
goes nuts at night when he sees another cat or god forbid a possum through the window :)

I will upload some pics to a server of my little Gabriella & post them on here later... I dont have my own server space these days so need to find some...

It has been my experience that male cats bond better with women than men. And females bond well with men, and less so with women. All our females consider me "Mom", but have always been more affectionate with my husband.

Cats have very sensitive hearing too.Weezie could hear the tiny shrews under the rocks on the shore upNorth. I'd watch her sit on a large rock and listen to them. So normal voice levels to them may hurt and bother them. I always pitch my voice quietly and higher register. All the cats I've ever had have hated yelling or tense tones. Our second cat Maya is very sensitive to loud talking or yelling, more so than Weezie.

aa
.
she is really sweet. There is nothing like a little kitten!

She has lovely markings, and cute pink toesies too!

Thanks for posting them!

Andy_Pablo 09-19-2014 12:58 PM

She is my little beauty & my 'reason' now...

Shes very intelligent too, which is great as it helps with teaching her not to bite people & faces in particular... I am also trying to get her not to bite when a specific area is smoothed. Cats have s tendancy to get a little snappy if they dont like smoothing of ears, tummy, etc, depending on the cat...

Shes very sociable too, which is great. I dont like it when cats hide as it means they are not comfortable. She seems extremely happy little kitten so far & I adore her. That appears to be reciprocated too, which Im very happy about :-)

Very proud of my little girl :-D

Lara 09-19-2014 02:01 PM

Andy_Pablo your kitten is absolutely adorable.
She reminds me of my own cat when she was that age athough she's a little darker in the markings.
Your cat has beautiful blue eyes by the look of it too. My cat has strange greeny yellow eyes.

I'll post a pic..

Just be warned. ;)

These cute little tabby kittens grow up to have minds of their own and will always be the boss of you! :D

Yes, her eyes are blue. One of the things I noticed when I went to choose her was her big blue eyes confidently looking up at me :-) Fell in love straight away...

I welcome her growing up. I cant wait to see her character & confidence develop... One of the things I love about cats is their independent/confident attitude & apart from a few things I am disciplining her about now, like biting, etc, she most certainly will be the ruler of the house. I wouldnt have it any other way ;-)

Your cat is beautiful. Lovely markings... Cats are ace :-)

Lara 09-19-2014 03:02 PM

Yes, I think that's why I love cats too.

My cat has a very independent and confident nature. I say it's annoying sometimes :o , but I actually love her very much.

All the cats I've looked after were like that except for one, and he's sadly not long ago passed away and his name was Kee Lin and he was a Himalayan Persian cross. He was very gentle in his nature compared with my moggy cats. Not timid at all, but he was not as confident and determined as the others.

Thank you for sharing.

My whole household is down with some bug. Our cat is going from person to person, being a cuddly little fur nurse. Amazing for a starving, terrified feral kitty we took in less than a year ago. What a transformation.

Lara 09-19-2014 07:59 PM

My neighbour took in a feral cat from the shelter.
Gosh, she was a scared mess when she arrived and used to lash out.
Now she's so pretty and such a lovely cat.
Hockey, I'm really sorry to hear that.
I've thought about you the past week. Your quietness was noticed.
I sure hope you are all feeling better fast.

Sparky10 09-21-2014 08:14 AM

That cat is having an absolute Blast! Thank you for sharing!

anon1028 09-21-2014 08:27 PM

cute kitten pictures. I don't remember that much of my cat being a kitten since I was in and out of the hospital in the beginning but from six months on he was and is my constant companion.
he is happiest when me and girlfriend are both home (which is too often). he just flops on the floor or in his house when we are home.
its so cute how he goes to his old house every night even though I bought him this new fancy house.
although I could have saved 125 bucks:)
