for those that havent yet tried it....go to the bottom left of the page and you will see a drop down menu box........click on the arrow and you will see the following choices.......

default style (VB Blue)
Chestnut
Black and Gold
Country Comfort
Epic
Smart Brown


Play around with the different themes and see which one you like best.

I usually have Smart Brown, (LOL in honor of our choccy lovin' yappy monkey :D ) but I sometimes use the others too.
We have a gorgeous day here today, and so I have switched to Country Comfort for a bit, especially as there are some lovely butterflies in my garden today:p

The only one that my ole eyes really cant handle too well is black and gold....tho I know a lot of members mentioned liking it before, when DocJohn first introduced this customized choice of themes for NT

It's funny, I need the distinct contrast to see things more easily. I'm not committed to any one skin, I'm more of a free agent with these things. The black/gold absolutely makes my eyes explode!

I like blue.

But it's nice to know we have choices rather than having stuff shoved down our throats by others who think they know what's best for US!

:o I corrected my previous post as i had written that Epic was hard on my ole eyes when I meant Black & Gold...seeing Cindy comment on the B&G and her eyes made me realise my error (humble apologies to all Epic users :Bow: :winky: )


It is actually always interesting to me how having a different theme changes the "feel" for me....very interesting.

Did you know that there are over 800 different species of Ficus? So which one would you be shoving?

By default, I would prefer the Ficus carica or the common fig, but more specifically, the fruit, if you please! I like figs. :p

I must say this Country Comfort is kinda soothing....I think I am going to use it for a while. :)

you may want to change your font colors for B&G...that dark blue font and other ones dont show up on the black pages.

i think you can only change the font size of your own posts on this software but, you can change overall font size in your own browser tools I believe

Neato! I'm test driving smart brown now. It's kind of inside out. Cool!

I had a hard time finding the reply button, it was hiding on me. It's kind of mellow looking, it makes me want to put on some Crosby, Stills & Nash.
