Dread

I'm having problems with my cat. I think that I'm going to have to take her to the SPCA. That hurts me so bad. I have a chipped tooth, and have to get my car inspected, and am hoping that there is nothing wrong with it so that my bank account doesn't go down to zero.

I'm feeling dread. (((Dread))) Awful. I'm having a hard time trying to get to sleep at night. I don't want to wake up after having had some sleep. I seem to be worrying about one thing ,or another. It's much worse then usual. I have a headache, and am having problems with allergy attacks. I don't know what's going on. BF:hug::hug::hug:

could your kitty be sick?
sudden changes could indicate that they have a bladder infection. Don't know what kind of problems you are having.
sorry that you are worrying more, not good.

I'm going to try adding dry cat food with canned cat food. She seems to get sick, and she wants to eat at the same time. She starts wanting me to feed her more when I turn out the lights, and try to get some sleep.

She's slinging her cat food in a three foot diameter around her cat food bowl area. She goes to the bathroom in her kitty litter, but finishes on the outside of it on the floor,or rug.

I've let her outside recently, and she has scratched out the screen door when she wants to get in. She meows over, and over when she wants more food. She makes a mess in the kitchen every day,or two. I still love her very much, and have a lot compassion for her.

I want to hug her,and when she sees me stretching out my arms, she tries to use that opportunity to be feed. BF:hug::hug::hug:

does she normally get just dry food?
WE leave ours out all day so they self feed through out the day, one eats too much the other is very thin.
Is she an older cat?
YOu could try to put newspaper on the floor all around the kitty box to catch what is left over?
as far as the screen goes could you trim her nails back more often, jeff does that with ours.
Our cats are indoor cats and we don't let them out side.
maybe she could use a play mate?
maybe you are her playmate?
WE close the door so that the cats can't come in our room at night...it is a no cat zone at night.
sorry you are having trouble with her.

We also leave the food bowl out all day. But we also put what they need
in the morning and then at night we put in the same amount. Mainly because
one of our kitties tries to eat it all. So there is always a chance the other
one wont get any in the morning. She is more a afternoon, evening kitty.

We also found that putting something around the kitty litter helps. But we
also have now 3 litter boxes. Only because we had two and we couldn't
get to them to clean out. So we temporarily were setting up a third.

But then for some reason our littlest dog decided it was his. And he honestly
uses it. So right now its still around.

Thank you Bizi. She is about 8,or 9 years old. I will be letting her outside as the weather gets warmer. I have put large white trash bags on the rug outside of her kitty litter box. Then I've put paper towels on top of the trash bags. This makes it easier to clean up. She seems to be strong, because she tares up those scratch boards, but she is thin. BF:hug::hug::hug:

She meows when she wants food. She goes off like a alarm clock when I'm sleeping in a meowing fit. Meow,meow,meow....... She leaves good food in the bowl, and wants me to fill it again. When I get up from the sofa, she many times beats me to the kitchen. I just fed her again, and she will want more soon. She's always hungry. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Is she thirsty too> can you tell?
I hate to say this but she may have come down with diabetes....
simple blood test will tell.

She's drinking plenty of water. She's so thin. I had a cat about 15 years ago that came down with diabetes. That cat was fat. She could, but I don't think so. She's outside right now. BF:hug::hug::hug:

So much to fret about in life, it's never a calm time it seems.

Are her eyes okay?my old cat slung food and batted the water bowl as he lost vision clarity. He even backed up to the litter box, but his bottom wasn't even in it. He thought he was so I couldn't get mad at him. I lost him at the holidays and it was difficult, loved him so much, almost 20 yrs old.

Maybe a hair all problem, or sensitive digestive. Many foods are cutting cost with additives. I had to switch from the reg Purina to IAMs and then to Purina healthy lend hair all formula chicken and turkey dry food.

I had a big box of canned food, but the one cat couldn't eat cheese they added. So I split a can between them, then put out a dual bowl later of dry food.

Mom may cat started a new thing; climbs on the bathroom sink for cold fresh water. She wants it dripping into the sink cold. I go in and turn the faucet off when I go to bed. By Dawn she is in there going, "whaaaaterrr" whhhaaaateerr. I had to record it so people could hear her saying water. Crazy momma.

Then she wanted a pooh box, and and pee box. I already have three, one for each cat????
Samson has been going half in and half out.

I hope you feel better soon Steve,
Spring is here, better temps, more daylight, easier to get out. Check with CEO about your car. They often have programs to help.

We have one kitty that wants treats in the morning when my husband gets
up. He will follow him around meowing till he sits some out.

That's what my cat does. I just keep feeding her. The meows don't stop until she's eating. I got some cat food for sensitive digestive issues. I hope that this helps her. BF:hug::hug::hug:

BF

I know you said, the kitty wont come close enough for petting and things.
The weird thing is this kitty likes to sleep on my side of the bed. Till
just recently he was all the hubby's kitty. Now he will let me pet
and play with him.

But usually I can't give the treats. He wont eat what I give.
