Hello from Chicago
Hello - I am a lifelong RLS sufferer, but have it under good control currently. I happened upon a post from someone who was having a hard time, so decided to join and pass along my 2 cents, for what it's worth, lol (2 cents isn't much these days, is it?).
Glad to be here. |
welcome to NeuroTalk ViewAskew :)
thanks for passing on your RLS info....a LOT more valuable than 2c for sure!!:D |
And we're glad to have you here View.....:D

Good Morning and :welcome_sign: !!!!!
It's nice to have you here!!! :Wave-Hello: Abbie |
Welcome View. Happy you found us :D You gave some great advice to flame!
P.S. I love Chicago. Lived there for 4 years before mvoing to So Cal. Chicago is one of my fave places. |
Hiya, ViewAskew!:Wave-Hello:
Glad you've joined us. Have you all fixed those nasty roads yet, so I can get through and be on my way? |
(((View))) Welcome to Neurotalk. Nicest people here you could ever want to meet! I've met a few of my internet friends from here and they are wonderful people off the board as well.
I hope you stay! It sounds like you could be a comfort to folks here as well as them being a comfort to you. :grouphug: |
Wanted to say hi, to someone who is very close to my area of the US.
And to say that its always nice when someone happens on this site. And decides to join to help another so that they can feel better too. That is one of the things I love the most about this place. So that means your thoughts and words are worth lots more than 2c's more like a million c's. So welcome. donna |

Hi ViewAskew!
I'm very happy to meet you! And equally happy that you stumbled onto the Neurotalk forums! If we keep saving up two cents at a time, soon we'll have some serious money, huh? ;)
I really am glad that you are here, though, and I hope you stick around and make some some friends. I know you'll find that it's a VERY nice place, with members that are even nicer! Good look and special wishes for you! Sincerely, Idealist |
My, so many nice welcomes. I need another forum like a need, well, let's just say I don't, lol. I do stained glass, so at one time I read and participated in like 5 forums, I moderate an RLS forum, my partner is celiac so I read a few celiac forums, and I LOVE to cook and eat, so I read a local Chicago Foodie forum.
When I signed in here, I didn't even save the link! I had to go back through my favorites to find where I'd posted. Is there an Internet Forum Users twelve step program????? :o I admit am am powerless over answering other people's posts. Maybe I just need to stop thinking that what I knew is valuable :p Per the roads, I can't even discuss them. I sold my car and I ride my bike or take public trans. When I have to, I borrow my partner's car. And then I regret it. My family and part of my partner's family live near each other and to get there we have to take the torn apart Dan Ryan. We've decided we just won't see our family until it's fixed. |
:D LOL, I understand that. You can only devote so much time to so many forums, then it's hard to keep up.
If there is a 12-step program for forumholics, it isn't helping me. |
