Here is to good sleep!!! :):):)

mymorgy 10-11-2015 08:35 AM

last night i woke up at three but quickly went back to sleep. i don't know if it was the glycine or not. I started getting a swollen eyelid yesterday and it is worse today. I hope i am not allergic to the glycine. If it doesn't get any better i will make an appointment with the opthmalogist. I will try cold compresses.
yesterday i was talking to my friends about miracles and when i came home i felt so peaceful. I wasn't motivated to do anything but i still felt so peaceful. I haven't felt like that in so long

my eyelid is more swollen or just not swollen on one side. last night i went to bed early but woke up at one. i don't know if the glycine worked. i went back to bed and woke up tired. i am trying to do my amended tax return but having trouble. at least i just found my federal tax return which i will have to send with it.
all because i left out a number on my social security number on the first page.
I am still tired.

Please go have the eye seen. It could be other things too.

i took the glycine in the afternoon and then it made me calmer. I was so agitated. I am going to try it again. Of course last night i slept for three hours and woke up and had coffee. then I was able in about an hour to fall asleep and not get up til nine.

I hope things work out with the glycine and you start sleeping better soon.

How is your eye?

mymorgy 10-13-2015 02:26 PM

thanks...my eyelid hasn't gotten worse and i think it is not as swollen..
i won't go to the doctor unless it gets worse.
my class was wonderful. I love the teacher and the material.

I called up to make an appt with the doctor. it isn't getting better and my neighbor thinks it might be a viral infection. she said she could see some red on the side. also my neck is now stiff a bit. I am breaking down. I will skip the rabbi's lunch and senior center today. Hopefully when i am less tired i will go over the taxes. they were such a strain the past few days. Last night i watched a lot of the debate.
bobby

bizi 10-14-2015 01:20 PM

I just took some glycine because yesterday my anxiety was so high and the klonopin didn't touch it. let us see if it still has a calming effect. Information also says that it is good for anemia besudes a lot of other things.

bizi 10-15-2015 08:41 AM

I'm glad you could get an appointment so soon. When I tried to get in to see the derm for my bed sore, I couldn't get an appointment until the 23rd, so I had to go see my PCP instead.
I hope all goes well at your appointment! Eyes are so important.

that is awful that it happened. A friend of mine had bedsores that were healing and was able to come home. I dressed them for a month rather than his having to pay a fortune for a visiting nurse. I have never washed my hands so much except when my mother had shingles. Then i washed them about five times.
it must be so hard to be a nurse. my mother was an rn and took on private patients which made it a lot easier. She bought a mink coat during the depression lol.

OhKay 10-15-2015 10:58 AM

I have a lot of experience treating bed sores. I wanted to be a wound care nurse when I got my RN...
Because of where mine was I had a hard time staying off of it it and it became a low-grade stage 2 and I needed a more intervention than I could provide myself with- I needed med. 35yo with a bed sore... but it's already looking good now.

My last job was at the VA. Even though I was just a CNA, I was the highest grade and worked 3rd shift, so I made more $$$ than many nurses. I didn't like that job, though. The level of care was sub-standard. The patients deserved to be treated better, especially since they were all veterans. The staff did not care. I was angry a lot of the time.

Being a nurse is a hard job, but it is truly rewarding. I loved what I did. Every day I went to work I made somebody's day a little bit better... How many people get to say that? Just ask Bizi.

It was a wonderful thing you did helping your friend!!!:hug::hug: But next time buy a box of gloves. They're worth the expense. You can get them at just about any pharmacy now. You still have to wash your hands.

You're a very kind person Bobby :hug::hug::hug:
