Shucks you guys!!!

This is just the sweetest thing and I am overwhelmed by all the responses. It is a very pleasant birthday surprise. I am so grateful for the wonderful friends I have here and for this beautifully supportive community.

It has been a good day. I took a short walk, did gentle yoga and went to lunch with my honey. Then we went to the eyewear place and I am finally getting prescription, polarized sunglasses! Very nice to have AND cute. They had a totally reasonable pair rocking a 50's glam Hollywood vibe. I feel like a movie star in them and they'll be ready in a week.

Then we went to the cupcake shop where I had to get a full selection of treats. Because who can make such heavy decisions like choosing a single kind of cupcake on their birthday?

My son came home and presented me with the cutest, hand drawn card that I'll have to keep forever.

What a great day!
