I'm a moon child and we had our full moon here on my bday which was yesterday for me - June 30th. We also had two full moons this June in my part of the world.

Guess what I'm doing?

I'm stuffing my face with yesterday's cake and it's breakfast. lol That's a shocking thing to do I know. Truly, I do know. However, someone needs to eat the cake so that it won't spoil.

Oh I think leftover birthday cake is the best thing to eat for breakfast and as long as you don't do it everyday (which you don't) you can treat yourself... afterall, its the day after your birthday!:hug:

I forgot to answer your question about the rain, Addy. Slipped my mind entirely. We had a little rain here a week or so ago. It was the first heavy rain I remember in way too long. The next day they told us we'd only had enough for one more day of water consumption from the dams. Unbelievable.

Down south the poor folk there who not too long ago were all burnt out in bush fires have been totally flooded out. They still are. Bridges out. Cattle drowned and all the rest of it. Some of our state out west got good falls a couple of weeks back that will see their new crops get a good start. What comes next we don't know. If this is really the end of the El Nino and beginning of La Nina, then we might get some more good rain, but who knows. So much devastation in other parts of the world as well at the moment. If it's not one thing it's the other. We have to make the most of every beautiful day. Gotta look ahead. It's too sad to stop and think about it all sometimes. So much irony.

I used way too much water yesterday. I needed to catch up on some washing of large items and it was sunny and windy day yesterday so I could get it all dry in the sun. I feel really guilty now, but it had to be done. I guess I'll just restrict myself for the next few weeks and try to save it back that way.

I tried to post earlier but the internet connection cut out. I guess someone was trying to phone in. I was just going to say that I did in fact throw out the rest of the cake yesterday, I'm so sorry. There was enough for a couple of people too. It'd been sitting there looking pretty sad for a couple of days. Even the strawberries looked a little wilted.

I only have one little ittsy bittsy green lime too, so I can't make a pie, but when I do I'll scan you all a piece. ;) I got the lime to add in to a thai curry I had thought of making but I forgot to make it in the end. Basically, I guess I became lazy!
