just got into a fight with a friend from facebook
 

she teased me about an awful and painful first job i had to boost my favorite person hillary. I rammed her. I told her that it was supposed to be an editor's job and thank god for psychology and programming. i added that she did not even go to college. I hate the butt of being somebody's joke

Facebook has the option to "UnFolllow "Susan" -- or whatever her name is.

You are still friends but you do not see their posts.
I have done that.
I also have unfriended people.
I have on several occasions "blocked" people.

One that I blocked was my second cousin's husband who kept posting about the government taking away his guns.
It is not his fault that he is too stupid
to know that the government is not going to do so.

Even so, I did not need his posts in my life.
There were not benefiting me.
I choose what I want to bring into my life.

I hope that it was not intended to be mean-spirited. If you think that it wasn't, and the relationship is worth it, you can try sending her a private message to try to let her know it hurt your feelings and give her a chance to apologize like an adult…

But if you think she was just being a *****, block/unfollow/unfriend her as Mari suggested, or keep reaming her if it makes you feel better and doesn't sap too much of your energy.

Yes, as far as I understand.
Susan can still see Bobby and post to Bobby and see what Bobby is saying, but Bobby does not see her.
"Unfollow" is the same as the old "ignore."

Talking religion and politics is dangerous. But it's your Facebook page. You should be able to post whatever you want.

If she's the type of person who constantly makes jokes at others' expense, I'd just block or unfriend her unless you're attached to her and think she has other redeeming qualities that make up for those shortcomings.

People are emotional this year about politics.

Facebook might get more heated as the election gets closer.

I think the news and social media is out of control already. I can't imagine what the summer and fall is going to bring. I think it's all very upsetting, but I still watch the news. I don't use Facebook, and haven't been checking Twitter for a while now.

i am not watching the news as much..I can't stand Hillary

Watching the news is useless, it's all lies. We are being fed just what the want us to hear. Try doing a search on youtube, then you'll find out what's really going on.

My parents seem to watch the evening news or read the newspapers because I hear them speak frustration about what is going on.

I read sites online with news "commentary."
That works for me because someone has already digested the information and explained it
without also trying get me excited or get me riled up.

I read things about three times a week or watch fifteen mins of PBS news hour on Fridays and that
is all I need to be halfway paying attention ---- ("halfway paying attention" is the same
as "halfway not interested" because, although I do care, at the moment I am in survival mode).
