Pandemic Prayer - Covid-19 CoronaVirus
1 Attachment(s)
I found this Prayer For A Pandemic on the www attributed to Cameron Bellm and really appreciated the thoughtful words.
My prayer for all here at NeuroTalk is protection and peace in the midst of this Covid-19 pandemic We know we are all going through unprecedented changes and many are very anxious, and some classified "high risk". Please use this thread if you would like others here to pray for you, and also if you need to release pent up anxiety, confusion, fear etc. and be encouraged. It's good to be able to find support and prayer in time of need :grouphug: |
re: Pandemic Prayer
Thank you so much, Chemar, for this thread! We really need this right now. God bless you! This is a difficult thing for almost everyone. People all over the world are worried, to say the least. I'm very grateful for my forum friendships & a place to go & not feel alone with what I'm going through.:grouphug:  :grouphug:

I hope that all members are coping well with this.
So far I am fine. I have enough food for me and my cat for at least 10 days. Whenever I go out to do some shopping most people are following the new rules; no physical contact and try to keep at least a metre from them. There was a photo of central Sydney in the paper today. Usually it is full of people going about their lives but today it was deserted. I guess that most following the "only go out when you need to" rule. |
re: coronavirus
It looks like countries all around the world are really trying very hard to stop the virus from spreading. And it seems like a lot of people are trying to be careful. So I sort of feel a bit optimistic about this pandemic just kind of fading away. I wish for all of you good health & relief from worry & anxiety: :grouphug: :grouphug: :circlelove:

Something good coming from all the bad of this pandemic is how many people are doing random acts of kindness and showing care for others! I am so encouraged reading those news reports, and also seeing it first hand in my community. Neighbors leaving notes in mailboxes that they are available to help if needed, and also checking on elderly folks (while practicing sensible social distancing!)
Also some positive changes happening in Nature in the midst of the human struggle. Satellite imagery shows air pollution levels around the World way down! And, in the absence of all the tourist ships, boats etc., the canals of Venice are running clear for the first time in many many years. :) I do hope this time of global crisis will pass soon, and we will emerge as a better humanity than we had become. Stay safe everyone :grouphug: |

Thank you so much, Chemar! I'm sorry I didn't see your post until now. I do feel that light at the end of the tunnel, but I have negative feelings sometimes. We all need to support & encourage each other. Thank you, everyone, for whatever you can do, no matter how small, a little bit of reassurance to someone else, or leaving something extra at the store for someone else to buy. God bless all of you!! :grouphug: :grouphug:

A Golden Oldie song from the early 1960s has become much beloved again globally during this pandemic time.
(I am old enough to remember when it first came out :winky:) Be blessed & Encouraged! "You'll Never Walk Alone" by Gerry & The Pacemakers Gerry & The Pacemakers You'll Never Walk Alone - YouTube |
This prayer is beautiful. COVID19 will end. I just feel so sad when I read news stories about COVID19 deaths.

Hard to believe we are going into July and still seeing so many covid cases, especially here in the USA.
I do pray for all impacted and also for everyone to do their part to help avoid spread. Together we can help each other get through this challenging time. :grouphug: |
Thank you, Chemar! We need to hang in there & follow all the good advice to keep all of us safe. We will get through this. And what a wonderful day it will be when this very unusual time is over. Take care, people! :) :grouphug: :grouphug: :circlelove:

We are still struggling but more people are joining the more cautious appoach, & I am so glad about that. Thanks to all of you who are feeling & sharing these good vibes (vibrations. ) We will get through this! :grouphug: :grouphug: :circlelove:.

People need to Stay Positive and spread positivity to others and NOT be in a gloom and doom mode **, my thoughts on all this. And don't be plugged in 24/7 to all the media.
Just talking to my friend back East and she has had her depression in her life and she says it's amazing she's not depressed but keeping in the positive and spreading good words to others. I affirm and meditate on life and no exception here. |
Talking with others one friend sent some positive words and I liked these:
The silver lining for me has been: to live in the moment as best as I can, and remember to look at all of the beauty that still surrounds us in nature and remember to stay in my heart and out of my head, as much as possible! We’re all getting worked out in the spiritual gymnasium! |
No matter what we have been through, the birds sing before sunrise every morning. If I have my window open, I hear the birds making these cheerful melodies each morning if it's going to be sunny. Brokenfriend:hug::hug::hug:

BF that is so true! I have a hanging birdbath and seed-feeder on the tree branch outside my window and the array of beautiful birds, plus their delightful songs brings me daily joy nomatter what is going on :circlelove:
|
BF, I agree with you.
I have enjoyed listening to the Powerful Owls calling at night. Mind you, they are the main reason that I do not let my cat go out at night. |
I love birds, too. Thank you for talking about them. :grouphug: :)

One of the Cardinals enjoying the birdseed today :)
(sorry it's a bit blurred but had to take through the window plus screen not to have him fly off if I went outside) |
That is a lovely bird Chemar :).
|
I think it is so cute when Cardinals look right at me and keep eating the birdseed that I have given them. We have hummingbirds and all kinds of other birds. I like sitting out in the front yard and watching all kinds of birds come, and go. I love the peaceful sounds of doves. BF:hug::circlelove::grouphug:

Thank you, Brokenfriend, for sharing about your visiting birds & how you feel about them. So nice to hear. :)
