bizi's new march thread 2022

slept in felt so good got up at 1030. ready to go to brunch with hubby. had a BELT bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato sandwich on rye bread not toasted with mayo on both sides of the bread. and some diner browns on the side really delicious but fattening.
I love it.
Got home from the diner at 1 pm
started my load of laundry, have 3 to do.
hubby and I went to whole foods to buy organic coffee and frozen veggies cause the freezer was empty of veggies. Went to bed bath and beyond, we actually I did not go in there until after I found a new pair of white scketchers for work I hope they are just as comfortable as the old ones. the memory foam is gone It is all bunched up..
went to walgreens to get some new brushes for my oral b electric tooth brush (those are really expensive )and bought some volteran generic for my knee pains got home and read the box and it said it could take up to a week before feeling any better. and you have to put it on 4 times a day. I took it back and told the guy I would just take advil. And got my refund returned to my visa.

Did some billing for my business. Then was on line for a while.

drinking non alcoholic beer. day 5, gave it up for lent and maybe forever.

Had left over chili for dinner. and some veggies that was delicious at 6pm
started doing some charting, but leaning over to try to see the charts in my filing cabinet, was too much for this pregnant looking woman.
so here I am again on line. Before this I ate some candies left over from christmas that my client's son gave to me. last week, they were delicious, I finished them tonight after dinner and ate 3 pirulettes.
I had a truffle after dinner with hubby.

Finally finished the laundry and folder them and put them away.
It is 10pm and I think we will watch sex in the city Jeff gave it to me for christmas. Last night we finished watching seinfeld. Jeff said he doesn't
want to watch it now maybe tomorrow. rats.
any way I will finish making my way around different forums that I post on and start getting ready for bed.
This is too much for any one to read my blah blah blah.
I won't bore you guys anymore.

Bizi

I enjoy hearing about your days. And all the things you do.

So don't stop. I will be starting a new thread in April. When
hopefully it isn't starting to sprinkle snow at my house.

But that is a dream right now.
Donna :grouphug::hug:

bizi 03-07-2022 11:02 AM

Thanks donna,
do you still have snow?
love bizi

Dmom3005 03-07-2022 11:08 AM

Not right now, but its weird I came back to my house yesterday.

And the house next door has one little area of snow. I'm not sure
why. Its really a site. I didn't have my camera or I'd have taken
a picture. I wont remember when I'm out next time.

Heehee, and the little flakes this morning wont stick because its
too warm too. But that is so good. I'm tired of snow.

bizi, I have quite a lot of boxed sets that I go through from time to time. I always have trouble when I finish one that I enjoy though, because I figure the next one won't be as good, but then I get into it and remember how great it was. I have all the old Sex and the City dvds and attempted to stream their latest one but gave up on it after the first episode. I found it disappointing to say the least but maybe that was just me.
Keep up the good work.

bizi 03-08-2022 12:00 AM

Thank you Lara!
We just finished watching the first episode and it was good. did not realize

Mr. Big started so soon. This was the "r" rated version, we saw the pg13 ones because it was on local net work tv..
What is your weather like now Lara?
80 degrees today low tonight is 51 F then 60's and rain for the next few days.
sunny for thursday then rain for a couple of days after that....mostly the weather men just guess at this stuff. The weather is going to do what it wants.
bizi

Lara 03-08-2022 12:10 AM

Having a heat wave here at present. It's been worse. Today is cooler day really. Hard to do anything outside although I did wipe myself out doing the mowing and edging some around the house yesterday and day before. I started early at 7am and finished at 10.30 both days.
33C/91F at 3pm Tuesday (that's now). Feels like/Apparent temperature is 37C/98.6F
Humidity 68 gone down from 95 earlier.
Showers come and go. Floods down south really, really, really bad.
We're already in Autumn/Fall on 1st March but it's hot here all year except for a week or two. <sigh>. La Nina still. I actually also miss talking weather with BF (Steve).

thanks for asking bizi. take care there.

bizi 03-08-2022 09:04 PM

We have not heard from friend in quite some time.
I think he is living with other people now some

common areas, but am not positive about that.
I think he reads here but you never know for sure.
Thanks lara we miss him too.

Dmom3005 03-08-2022 09:20 PM

bizi 03-11-2022 10:11 PM

Do you know about the SI joint?
There is one on each side of your spine.
but it is located where the dimples
are at your lower back/butt.
They can get inflamed or dislodged and

cause havoc in daily living.
I have had a diminished pain in my left

Sacral iliac joint =SI joint.
It can also appear as sciatica. with pains

in the buttocks then down your leg.
My pain is gone at the site so I am happy

about that.
I don't know why it disappeared.
I have chronic lower back pains that I have
had for some time now. I think the chiropractor
helped but one time he hurt my middle back

and it really hurt. so I stopped going.

my middle back gets stressed and aches, it never
did that until he hurt me.

My knees have been giving me fits.
I know it is from over use with my job, I have to get down

on one knee to wash peoples feet.
both thighs closet to my knees were hurting badly.
But they are getting better each day.
my neck hurts off and on. It pops and cracks and

some times it even grinds. These are chronic aches

and pains that I just live with.Enough about that.
having better posture helps when I remember to
sit up straight on my padded stool.
anyway,
Jeff and I were gone from 9;30 am to 7;30 pm when we got home.
I asked a security guard if he could walk me to my car.
and explain how to get to jeff who was wheel chaired,

at the patient pick up area.
Jeff had a longer time coming awake enough able to walk
And used the restroom before he could leave.
So he is home and he had a normal belly button
when he came home. today there is a pouching of
puffyness that is of concern. There may be drainage
at the site that can do that. He said when he read
some sites that he turns to for advice regarding this
procedure It could be normal so he is not freaking out about it.
that was a long day for both of us.
After we got home jeff laid down in bed and
I ate right out of the can cold clam chowder

which was tasty. We have a wind advisory up

to 30 mile an hour winds gust up to 40mph.
and temps are going to drop to the mid 30's. burr!
The wind is howling. and the wind chimes are very active.
Some friends showed up with dinner It was delicious!
She is from hong kong and is an excellent cook.

There was a fish that she cooked whole and bok choy

and pork with ginger. yum
At 6pm jeff took a whole pain pill I suggested to
take a half to see how it effected him no he

wanted to take the whole thing. After dinner

was done He started to feel the effects of the pain pill
And sent him to bed. He did not want to take
anything else. He said his heart rate was low 50's
it dipped down into the 40's at the hospital

recovery room. his alarm keep going off. He would
make him self stay awake. Because every time he
was starting to fall asleep the alarm would go off.
I just checked on him he is dozing off and on. and his

respiration's are shallow and 14 bpm breathes per minute.
I have been drinking partakes non-stop since I got home.
It is good that I am not drinking alcohol.

That would just matters worse.
Thank you for reading this entire post.
Thank you for your support!
bizi

mymorgy 03-12-2022 08:24 AM

thank you so much. How is Jeff's blood pressure now? What caused that?
Wow I am so sorry that you experience so much pain. Has physical therapy or massage helped. Do you take pain medicine every day and if so does it help and what is it? I don't have your tolerance for pain.
the dinner sounds great.
when does Jeff go back to the doctor?
love,
bobby

bizi 03-12-2022 08:22 PM

jeffs heart rate is normal now.
he sees his dr in 2 weeks.
sometimes I take advil for my back like today I took 2 advil.
with food of course.
always take advil 4 is maximum dose 3 times a day.
I have a heating beaded neck collar moist heat it produces.

I use it on my back when I need it.and I just like how it is.
I microwave it for 1min and 45 seconds. It stays warm for a long time.
how long do you microwave your sock with rice grains?
I will stop drinking the partakes at 3 then switch to the ones

that don't have any alcohol. The partakes have less then .5%
so it is a good substitution because I like it.
love, bizi

Keeping him and you in my prayers keep us updated.

mymorgy 03-13-2022 07:27 AM

great about Jeff. I am confused how many advil you take a day. the heated neck dollar sounds great. could i use it on my leg?
i put the sock in the microwave for 10 seconds but it does cool off fast.my stomach is so awful that right even though my leg still really hurts i haven't been taking pain killers.
love
bobby

bizi 03-13-2022 04:23 PM

You can take up to 4 advils 3 times a day this is the rx amount.but no more than that. Do you have advil I would suggest you take it.
You could use the hot pack on your leg. When you first hurt it ice would have been for it.Jeff has a nifty ice pack that is self contained It is blue and you dont fill it with ice. you stick it into the freezer and freeze up these micro beads. it is blue like the old kind that you fill with ice. not sure if I described it good enough. you may have purchased one before.you are only supposed to use them for like 20 minutes which is about the time that it is cold for.
you just stick it back into the freezer and take it out when ever you need it.
It is really helping his pain in his belly.
love bizi

bizi 03-15-2022 11:07 PM

Jeff has another rehearsal tomorrow.
He will ask one of the guys to help him with the amp.

he is still trying not to bend at the waist.

He has been taking it easy I think, don't know
what he is doing at school.
We are going to a play on campus on

thursday "urine town" They put it on many moons ago.
It costs us $50 which is really high for a performance.
Jeff said it was a collaborated between the performing
arts school and the school of music.
I am procrastinating doing our taxes and me doing charting
again. I was caught up then got behind again.
I don't know how I ever got anything done while

I was drinking alcohol.
I have made it 2 weeks so far. But I am drinking a
lot of the partakes. They taste so good I really

like them. I think that they produce endorphines
like a rush of good feelings, like a chemical high or euphoria,
like alcohol.
anyway,

I need to get serious about getting our taxes ready to

take to the cpa to do our taxes for us again.
thank you for reading my post as always.
I appreciate your friendships over the years.
love,

bizi

mymorgy 03-16-2022 05:45 AM

thanks. at first i used a cold pack. somebody from the building lent it to me.
i forgot what pain killer i have. i just got a big heating pad and put it in microwave. it felt so good.
i got myself so depressed. i really don't know why i am a perfectionist and catastrophize.
oh i had a couple of grilled chicken toasted sandwiches which were good.
i will buy some more. i wish i could cry.
love,
bobby

bizi 03-16-2022 09:48 AM

make sure you eat with the advil or the generic ibprofan
it can hurt your stomach if you don't eat something. and
you have enough stomach problems.
I am glad that you liked the chicken.
I love heating pads! but use my microwave one best.
Sometimes I lay on my side and use the heating pad

if my back bothers me and it helps.
make it a great day!

bizi 03-16-2022 10:08 PM

Lara, we saw the musical many years ago and enjoyed it.
It has been nice to see live theater music again!
still have to mask up but that is ok....
we are going to the musical live musicians. YAY!

That's wonderful bizi. It certainly sounded as if it was an interesting play especially in this day and age. I used to go to the theatre a lot when I was young. They were good times with super people. take care, have fun

I made it 19 days with out drinking alcohol.
Then today we went to a festival, when I remembered
that sundays don't count for lent. so I drank....had

several shots of free vodka.
my favorite was peach vodka with an orange mixer.
It was very good!
then I switched to beer. now I have had

a couple of gin and tonics since we have been home
from the festival.
It was the perfect day for the festival. great music and weather.
I got a bit of sun.
Jeff had a fall off of a curb of sorts.
he is 10 days post op from his hernia repair.

he hurt his shoulder and knee. he will be sore

in the morning am afraid.
I did 3 loads of laundry tonight after we got home

from the festival. We had chicken patties for dinner
with chopped spinach. It was very good.
I am still doing laundry.
now am done with laundry have folded them and put them away.
It hurts my back kind of leaning over.....I have a very sensitive back.
Thank you for reading my post.

The forums keep getting quieter and quieter.
Hello wren.
(((((HUGS)))))
bizi

Lara 03-26-2022 05:46 PM

Yes, it is quiet but it's quiet everywhere even in the streets not that I even see the streets anymore except on the internet news.

I think everyone is worn out from the overwhelming magnitude of so many combined disasters all over the globe. Overwhelmed. Tired. Drained. I know I am. We went from disastrous fires that were long ago totally forgotten due to covid and now to flooding rain. I have friends in terrible situations right now as I type and it's starting to pour rain again where they live. People are traumatised. Never in my entire life has it seemed this bad. The cost of living, the health issues, the lack of leadership, the weather issues, the war issues, the homeless issues and on and on.

:o

bizi 03-26-2022 07:33 PM

@Lara Yes the globe looks awfully tired. sorry for your rains. Have the fires stopped? how did they start do you know?
nice to hear from you.
bizi:hug::hug::hug:

Lara 03-26-2022 07:43 PM

Hi bizi.
I think our fires of 2019/20 were mostly caused by lightning strikes. We always have fires here but nothing like that.

I personally love rain. It could rain every day for me and I'd feel grounded and happy. I don't like sunlight. Maybe a vampire. lol

I have friends in the area where I used to live and the town has been totally flooded and they live out of town and up a mountain and have had landslides and terrible things going on. I used to live there. I miss living there and my heart breaks for them all. They are sad and despondent and feeling helpless and hopeless right now. I'm just a worrier. I worry about everyone and every living thing.

Thankyou for asking.

bizi 03-26-2022 07:55 PM

Lara, You don't hear much about landslides in our news. That must have been scary.
you are a very special soul. you always have been. Thank you for your support.
I worry about bobby.
bizi

Lara 03-26-2022 07:58 PM

I'm worried about her too.
I just hope that her visitors and friends are keeping in contact right now when she really needs them.
Although I also understand that sometimes we need a time out or to be invisible for a while. I am hoping that is all that it is.

take care there.

Dmom3005 03-26-2022 10:39 PM

We got of all things snow today. Here I was hoping it was over.
I should have known better. But its been pouring for days and
then it got colder and snowed. Ugh, No fun.
