Night Owls # 9
 

The last 'Night Owls' was too far down on the page so I figured we needed to start a new one.

I know it isn't particularly late .... but it seemed to be closer to 'Night Owls' time than 'Early Birds' .... at least for me. :)

I need to go really 'cause it's tea time here. 10 to 6 and I have 2 hungry children about to walk in the door. Making home made pizzas tonight. House smells good. :)

Moon was beautiful last night. I watched it for ages but then I got a horrible headache. Not sure if it was from the moon or my son. lol He decided to make some weird sort of corn tea. It's Korean. He's so clever, but sometimes just doesn't have a clue. After steeping this corn tea in 2 litres (why 2 litres? Don't ask me) for about an hour, he then decided to pour it into a container which had a neck of about 1/2 an inch in diameter. Didn't use a jug or a funnel, no. Just poured it straight from the saucepan into the bottle. Of course, not much went into the bottle, most went all over the kitchen. :)

Still have the headache. Maybe it'll be gone tomorrow. I feel as if I have a migraine without the pain. weird.

Ahh, there you are. Not bedtime yet. Just late afternoon.
I do have to get moving though, but I'm really glad I didn't miss you.

I hope you can get back to sleep there alffe.

I missed the lunar eclipse the other night. My son said it was cool so I asked him why he didn't wake me up to tell me (at 2:30am) and he replied "because you were asleep." :p

when my grandmother steeped a tea for me to try. it was a home remedy for better digestive functions, and she's a health and home remedy nut. lol. she's still going today at the age of 89! anyway, i drank the tea. in the next morning, i was double over from cramps and was going to the bathroom like crazy. then my grandma just realized that she had oversteeped the tea and made it way too strong. hey, she od'ed on that stuff. lol. i was ok by afternoon, and my grandma profusely apologized for that. i wasn't mad, but i was laughing about it. it was funny.

So tell me, Shelley. How do you mix your Margaritas? Do they taste like kool-aid, or burn like gasoline going down? I see that your mood is mellow, so I'm guessing on the latter...:D

It's good to see we've gotten a few new owlies on the roost. And Corky, I think being a night owl is more a state of mind than a time of day. :D
