Original Forum Back Up BUT

the links posted at the top of the page are gone? Anyone know what happened??? I also cannot sign in under my original user name of either forum.

Thanks...

i had to re-register to get in. i used my same user name and password as i had used there but for some reason wouldn't take, so just re-registered.

once i did that i was able to get to main page with all forums listed. and re-set up my subscribed forums, signature, etc......

this also got me to User control panel etc.....

good luck

They seem to have some electronic communication problems. I'm not getting email notification of posts even though that is the setting I selected. I did not get electronic confirmation that my registration needed to be activated, yet was able to log on and post.

I am getting email notifications. I read somewhere it isn't set up to send out electronic confirmation to activate registration.

best wishes

I have registered and have been over there to read, but this place just feels more like home to me, than there.:)

Maybe it's because I hadn't been there as much in the past year. I'll continue to read, b/c I don't want to miss anything ;), but will most likely just post here.

I noticed you started your usual musing thread there, Cherie, but I never was into talking about my boring days and idle chit chat. It serves the needs of alot of people though.:)

Reenlisted and haven't had return communication.
Not happy about that. :(

Try going in, logging on and posting. it's worked for several of us.

lady_express_44 10-04-2006 07:34 PM

I'm registered there, Renee . . . wanna' use my handle? :p

Glad to have you here anyway. :)

I signed up AGAIN [member since 1995] several days ago, and still haven't received permission to log on! Not a good sign....re-starting with problems already!

Cherie 10-09-2006 07:08 AM

I did not get my electronic notification but was able to log in and post. BUT...although I have requested "instant email notification" of posts or PM, I have not gotten a thing from them.

euphonia 10-09-2006 07:19 AM

  • Everyone has to re-register at BT one.
  • Most of us didn't receive the e-mail authorization, but it let us log in anyway and let us post anyway.
  • If anyone still can't get in, let us know here and we'll post it over in their forum feedback.

euphonia 10-09-2006 07:29 AM

P.S.
When you're logging in, don't forget to check the "remember me" box, or the next time you visit it will still say you can't post.

lady_express_44 10-09-2006 08:55 AM

For those who sign in each visit there, are you having a problem with signing on?

The only way I've figured out how to sign on each time is to go to a board, click on a post, hit "reply" . . . and then the sign-on pops up. If I just try to sign on at the top, it doesn't work.

Also, when I try to switch between forums, the system locks up on a blank page.

Looks like some issues still need to be worked out there.

DH is working hard to try and fix things, but he can only do so much without JL's okie dokie.

I have only posted in their forum feedback, so far.

This is Home to me, but I still have an alligience to BT1, because of JL's contribution to us. I still adore him.:)
