Any plans? What's up? How is everyone feeling?

I'm okay. I will be spending it between the hospital and home, hoping to get some pool time in too, and barbecueing.

Tired and sad.
But not anxious at the moment. Meeting my parents at the airport tonight.

Tired but doing well. Doing nothing special this weekend. Just resting. Todd has been sick so he wants to rest too. The most we will do is go out to eat and go grocery shopping. I know....big doings!:D

Not sure what I'm doing. WIll update when I do something.

Heehee, one of the local small towns has a festival, but I don't think
I'll go. But hubby and Derrick will. And my middle son will take his
girl and her girls. I get to watch the 11 month old grandson. Yippee,
I'm looking forward to it.


I've got my 5 year old grandson tonight. I'm enjoying that, it takes so
little. Derrick is his favorite.

I can't stop yawning tonight and it's early still! :eek: Things are going well but I am having a lot of anxiety over things, my hard drive died the other day and it was such a PITA to try to get another one to work. I got lucky and we found an old one that took formatting okay and is now working for me. THis weekend I expect to just go out with Mother and do some shopping like we always do and to go get some lucnh at Wendy's. Today was an okay day if you count not doing much as okay. I wished I could have just gone back to bed but I didn't. I have dishes waiting on me to do them and then my daily chores are all out of the way.

Yesterday I watched American Beauty, anyone seen that? It was on demand on Cinemax and I got depressed over the ending. Worried about my DH dying, we're trying so hard to change the way we eat and all, I just hope it's in time to prevent his prematurely passing. I have to admit I worry about that a lot and it's really hard to think that someday I will be alone, but I know it's true. So I have kind of been fighting depression. Partially that is due to my medications we're trying to tweak a bit so the anxiety gets more under control. My T wants me to work on weaning off the elavil and to try me on paxil to see if that doesn't help me more. :)

I am glad to be seeing her again. It really helps me to see her and to know that she listens to me and wants to help me makes me feel much better. :) Hope you all have a great weekend. :)

Making these and dinner for a friend's family for tomorrow night. Her husband is in ICU from a major stroke....it doesn't sound good.
THey are a lovely family.
Going to the zoo with a girl friend and her 10 month old baby girl Gillian in the morning...hopefully I will sleep tonight...did not sleep at all last night....then the shrimp and petroleum festival is in Morgan city about an hour away on sunday...we always go, they have a large arts and crafts area under the highway over pass so it doesn't matter if it rains or not!

I'm so very glad the week-end is here!! I worked very hard this week, and my eyes need a rest! Plans for the week-end? Well, we're going to a Flea Market tomorrow - it's a well-established, weekly one. Haven't been in quite some time. I'd also like to get in a visit w/ my son and his family! We haven't seen them in a couple of weeks.

Oh, and a LOT of relaxing and working on the crocheted baby blanket I'm just starting for my future Grandaughter - in pastel colors - white, pink, green and yellow. The baby's room is yellow and green - worked well for Angelo and now it'll be his sister's turn!

Nice relaxing day here. My feet didn't get the message that they aren't supposed to be swelling so bad. They didn't go down overnight.

So I went back to bed and laid down, ended up napping till noon. While the hubby and Derrick went to a festival a town or two away. I knew I couldn't do the flea market and the tracter pull so I wasn't going either way.

Tomorrow is my day with Derrick, hubby is taking a crew to work on a house
in Kokomo. A lot further away town. But that means we are catching up on houses, and derrick's room will be soon.

And I have a list of things I need done, and I will either hire a carpenter and electrician or my husband will do it this time. Its been years but I'm tired of
falling when I go outside. And not just because of my problems.

Companys coming for supper, chicken with cream of chicken soup and swiss cheese top off with stuffing mix, salad and green bean casorole, brownies and wine they were very happy!

I loved 23. It was a real turn for him. Interesting premise. Don't want to give the movie away but I wasn't expecting the ending!

I stayed close to home Saturday and Sunday but plan on visiting at the nursing home today. Gosh do I need to get away somewhere.

I hear you. Take one hour or one minute at time.
Can you take a five minute break by yourself and close your eyes and do some deep breathing --- or whatever technique you have?

Sometimes I turn out the lights in my office. The relative darkness seems to calm me down a bit.
