I had lost track of the days and suddenly the date for your surgery is here. I wish you all the very best for a very speedy recovery.

Don't go overdoing it. You need to delegate for a while lol Easier said than done I know! ;)

All the best and once it's all done and you've recovered you will be feeling so much better and so much stronger.

We'll all be thinking of you.

Good luck Goofy! It'll be interesting to see what they say about the gall bladder. Mine was 100% packed with stones and he said they worked hard at getting it out, lol.

Now remember...you need help afterwards, even to get up from a laying down position. It will be sore. You'll find yourself holding your belly when you are well enough to walk. In a couple weeks you'll be almost new again!

And take your pain drugs they should be giving you at regular intervals to stay on top of the pain.

hey.... just checking in.... yesterday was a blur.... i'm pretty sore but overall feeling good. THANK GOD the nausea is gone... I'm letting my family spoil me. I've decided i dont like percocet or however you spell it... It makes me itch REALLY bad.... Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers... THEY WORKED!!!!

My favoritest uncle from Kansas called me Saturday night and told me after 3 days i'd never know i had the surgery. WELL..... today is the 3rd day and he was wrong LOL.... I think i did to much yesterday. I was feeling really good yesterday and went to church and did some laundry, and fixed supper.... sigh...... i think i'll keep a low profile today. as soon as i get back from taking sis and her friend to school its back to the recliner for me. A day of reading, resting, and recuperating.... :hug:

Shame shame shame. :hug: I'm picturing you on the recliner. *grin

Glad to hear that your surgery is over and all went well!

It is very common for the third day after surgery to be the worse because this is the point where the body accepts the intrusion and begins to recuperate. It is wise to take it easy for at least 7-10 days and that means even if you are feeling well! Are you suppose to be driving????
