Just like Ronnie said, "He's a little crazy."

C'mon, Sal, Linda K-B can shut up already! She's so full of it, he's guilty as sin! Of course the poor woman didn't enter the home of a stranger and suddenly decide to kill herself! Picture it, "Excuse me, do you have a tissue? Thank you. Any chance you have a LOADED GUN HANDY?"

I'm sooooooooo about sure! What about the line, "I think I just killed someone"? Does he have that kind of power, to think someone into poking a loaded gun into her own mouth and fire it????

LOL, did you see his wife's interview this morning? It was like a desperate plea to defend his "gentle, loving spirit". Bah!

Guilty!!!!!!

SallyC 09-07-2007 02:16 PM

I agree with you, Cindy, although KB did lay a pretty good case for reasonable doubt out there. Where was all the blood and guts on the arms of his jacket, his shirt, his pants and shoes?? All they need is one juror on their side for a mistrial.

Yes, heard Rachelle Spector today. She and his DD, who was on yesterday, said exactly what you would expect them to say. Those awful women were all lying about this nice gental man...sure...LOL!

Of course, let me say this....If I were the beautiful, talented Lana Clarkson and found myself in Phillip Spector's loveCastle, with him trying to stick his ugly shrivvled up little oops....what!!!... in my mouth, I would probably ask for a gun too..LOL!!

GUILTY!!

shiney sue 09-07-2007 02:46 PM

Heh, heh, heh Sally that's so funny but true. The wife was almost
yelling,oh my don't do this,i'm going to be broke after putting up,
with let's play gun's.Phil no,come on i give you more money,and you
won't have to do my hair tomorrow. Beautifull women don't shoot
themselves in the face...They just don't,they want to go out looking good.,
I mean we are all beatifull we understand. But Sally you have a point
i might ask to borrow that gun as well.. OK i say hung jury!!!Sue

AfterMyNap 09-07-2007 05:05 PM

Sue! Give me a break! Do you really think that the defense might have hooked one or more of the jurors? C'mon!

No way, he's goin' down! er... away!

ewizabeth 09-07-2007 09:23 PM

Hi Guys,

Ok, I haven't been following the trial, but I watch a lot of Law & Order and CSI Miami...

A woman will not shoot herself in the face. If they are going to commit suicide, they'll want to leave a good looking corpse. The cops on TV said so.

From what I've heard about this case, it sounds as though he is guilty, it's just going to depend on how crafty his attorneys are. Remember OJ? :(

AfterMyNap 09-07-2007 09:36 PM

Well, Wiz, if it was on TV, it must be true!:D:ROTFLMAO::ROTFLMAO::ROTFLMAO:

Actually, I've heard the same stats, suicide by gunshot is waaaaaay down at the bottom for women in the first place. Factor in the vanity, the highly suspicious circumstances, and the fact that it was his gun, and we have the makin's for a first-rate "ripped from the headlines" episode of L&O... budung...

ewizabeth 09-07-2007 10:48 PM

Let's hope the jury has some common sense and sees it as it is. It would be nice to have justice once in awhile.

SallyC 09-08-2007 12:02 AM

I wonder if the defense att'ys really believe their :)own story, that Lana committed suicide???? I think they are banking that because of reasonable doubt, the Jury won't be able to find him guilty of Murder 2.

Neither the defense or the prosecution wanted the lesser charge of Manslaughter included, because the Jury might have gone for that. I honestly think that they should have allowed the Jury to choose manslaughter over murder 2. He was drunk as a skunk and not in his right mind.

AfterMyNap 09-08-2007 06:42 AM

Oh, Sal! The very thought of a juror who would excuse a murder over the defendent's drunkenness is absolutely disturbing! Sadly, the lone dud might just be out there, but honestly, as the trial progressed, I found myself disliking LKB so intensely that I wanted her to lose her case more than I was concerned with the justice being meted out. Hopefully, any undecided juror will be persuaded by common sense from the others.

I can't get past the simple fact that a loaded gun was introduced into their visit for any reason!

SallyC 09-08-2007 07:59 PM

I hope he gets what he deserves, Cindy, but like Wiz reminded us...remember OJ...and Robt Blake too! Although I like Blake and wasn't sure about his guilt. His wife had lead a pretty shady life and could have been offed by someone else, I suppose.

I wonder how long the Spector Jury will deliberate. It only took 4 hrs for OJ to be aquitted.

AfterMyNap 09-08-2007 08:11 PM

True, Sal, but OJ was nowhere near typical, Johnny Cochran had the same level of allegiance from the jury as OJ himself. I can't see that happening here, mainly because it's hard to imagine that he has that kind of hero status. I certainly can't believe that LBK has won any souls.

Don't forget where Ray Caruth currently resides.

I've always loved the wall of sound, and it was most definitely one of music's huge turning points, but aside from testimony at trial, what percentage of the jury would elevate him to "star" treatment? The guy may be a genius in his field, but he's a freak in mine.

AfterMyNap 09-17-2007 08:05 AM

Oh my goodness! I just discovered that Phil's jury is still out! This doesn't bode well for the prosecution. I might have to buzz down there and kick some juror.

Plus, OJ is looking for negative attention again! Talk about an idiot, he really must miss being in the limelight even at his own expense. I hope they can find a way to lock him up for a long time. Sheesh!

SallyC 09-17-2007 11:11 AM

Hi Cindy..;) Yes, indeed the Jury is still out. I hope they are going to come back with a guilty verdict and are just being extremely fair, in their long deliberation. I hope it's not just one holdout, like maybe the NBC Producer Guy Juror. How did that happen?

OJ will probably get out of this one. After all, he was just trying to steal his own stolen stuff back...LOL! Is anybody going to read his book, that Mr. Goldman got published? It's a best seller, already. I hope the Goldmans make lots of money off of it.

DM 09-17-2007 06:43 PM

I can't stomach any more OJ news. He's a mad man and should be locked away.... Please NO MORE PICS of him on TV..

*flailing arms and running from room*:OuttaHere:

Oh, and YUP~ PS is guilty as HECK and I'll go w/you Cin, to kick some juror's tails!!!

SallyC 09-18-2007 06:28 PM

Hung Jury 7 to 5 (wouldn't say which way they're leaning) defense called for a mistrial but Judge say he thinks arguing for a lesser charge could be the answer.

The Judge sent the Jury home for the day.. Back tomorrow to try again. I had a feeling that they should have included the lesser charge of Manslaughter, but the Prosecution thought they had a case for murder 2 and didn't want to muddy the waters..OH well, back to the drawing board.

It would be a real "shot in the head" if he were to get off scott free.

AfterMyNap 09-18-2007 09:09 PM

Oh, no way! Are you kidding me? Are L.A. jurors just stooooopid!?!

Well, if I ever commit an egregious felony, I'm having my trial moved out there!

C'mon, DM, put on your boots that were made for walkin', we're going to kick some juror.

No singing!

watsonsh 09-18-2007 09:27 PM

Well I am from LA and have been downtown for jury duty and seriously you would not believe it if I told you yes. The scene is truly one of a kind.

SallyC 09-20-2007 08:56 PM

The judge gave some new instructions and sent the Jury back to begin new deliberations today...so we're back on Jury watch, in the Phil Spector case...

Phil did not look happy.:( This could be heading for an appeal, if the Jury finds him guilty of murder 2.

AfterMyNap 09-20-2007 09:13 PM

Yeah, I caught a bit of that today, Sal. What a mess, it will probably cause all kinds of reasons for appeal. When they first introduced the charges, it struck me that it was an all or nothing deal. The CourtTV analysts talked about it for a long time. I think it was Vinny P. who even said it was a recipe for a hung jury. Dang, it would stink if he got away with it. Ugh.

SallyC 09-26-2007 04:05 PM

Jury still deadloked----Judge says *ISTRIAL - - DANG PUTER FUGGING UP AGAIN!!!!!

AfterMyNap 09-27-2007 12:56 AM

Dangit! No way!

Now they won't go after him again because of money. Dang, that really bugs me, man!
