QUESTIONS ONLY game

Can you play a game that spoofs some doctor's way of "communication?" Some seem to only be able to ask questions, and never really give an answer, or haven't you noticed? Can you play by these basically simple rules: everything must be in a form of a question, use the "?" icon for the post, and keep it as clean as you can?

JD 09-21-2007 09:00 PM

Surely you want to play?

I'll give it a try?

Science is superb when it comes to showing that the chemical formula for water is H2O. Or, more significantly, that DNA has a double helix.

But what of that greater question: what’s life all about?

JD 09-21-2007 10:15 PM

That's good, but shouldn't all of your sentences be questions?
Isn't that the age old question, what is life all about?
Is finding the answer made more difficult because we are sensient beings?

:winky:

?

Perhaps we are spiritual beings in a mud body?

JD

sentient ?
may I use that in a sentence?
“The living knew themselves just sentient puppets on God's stage”??
(T.E. Lawrence)? ;)

JD 09-22-2007 06:43 AM

I wonder where I found that "s" instead of "t?"

Alffe 09-22-2007 07:40 AM

We wonder a lot in the SOS forum. :D

JD 09-22-2007 11:09 AM

Hmmm how is that a question Alfie? Or should I ask, What's it all about Alfie? :) Didn't you forget your icon ? and a question to boot?

lou_lou 09-22-2007 11:19 PM

The Q?

What is Stress?
Why does Alfeeee wonder so much?

JD 09-23-2007 05:10 PM

Isn't stress any pressure we are under?
Do you think that forum causes the wonder?

lou_lou 09-23-2007 06:12 PM

questioning the questions?

I am questioning the questions ?

Is there an answer to be had?
Is stress always good?
or Is stress always bad?
does stress cause the demise of health in a day?
does health make you happy?
Or is it more what we say?

if health is curable ?-then why dont we see any cures?
did you became a doctor to help take away the pain?
or to take credit for inventing a disease/and ad your name?

why did one great mind - think medicine was food?
why when Freud came along and called "Penis envy a mood"...?

Questioning the questions here and now?
Doc -I want to be healthy again - can you tell me how?

a poetry question- by lavenderlou?
;)

JD 09-25-2007 02:31 AM

Don't you know I'm always cautious when someone says "always?"

lou_lou 09-25-2007 06:54 AM

Do you know - I do not know the point of questions with no answers?
Isn't it a bit like spitting on a forest fire?

JD 09-25-2007 09:40 AM

Is that part of the original point?
But also, doesn't that cause us to think about the real answers, when we are confronted with another question about it?

lou_lou 09-25-2007 10:26 AM

What's another word for Thesaurus?

lou_lou 09-28-2007 09:13 PM

?

Did I win the game?

JD 09-29-2007 12:55 PM

Oh didn't you know the game goes forever?

Aren't you witty? Isn't the answer to that an onomasticon?
Is that important to you?

Did you know I"ve been sick, which is why I didn't play?

Alffe 09-29-2007 04:59 PM

I always come and read this and I can't think of one question..not one! Does that mean I have any answers? Nope! But I enjoy reading here. :)

And I'm sorry you've been sick!

waves at Tena

JD 09-29-2007 06:05 PM

Isn't it the taking of a thought and putting it into a question form rather than the thinking of a question to ask? :Hum: You know how to use the question mark icon, don't you?:) These are elements of a game, and isn't that supposed to be fun?

Alffe 09-29-2007 08:21 PM

Is it easy being green?

lou_lou 09-30-2007 02:38 PM

?

So sorry DocJohn I didn't know you were ill?

- I have PD -that's not like an omnipotent power is it? ;)

Why is it so hard for some people to love one another, instead of keeping score?

Isn't onomasticon a fancy schmancy name for a list/book of Nouns ?
:D
Dr. John, - Are you having [fun] yet?
Is this one of those "the Chicken and the Egg Conundrum's"? ;)

Dear Allfeeeeeeeeeee...?
Is it easier to be green or lavenderlou?
Is that perhaps a toss up!?

What do you think?

Do you think Doctor John would be able to answer that question?
Perhaps he finds it hard being white?

Alfeeeeeeeee ? Do you think it is easier being green?
