Oh boy, that's terrible! :eek: Computer woes are the worst, I wish her luck in getting it resolved. Thanks for being there for her Di, you're awesome! I just wish it hadn't happened. Barbara needs us now more then ever with all that's going on in her life.

hi all,

at library and need to rush as they don't have a public restroom. Put puter in shop, will hear something at end of week, longer to get fixed if have or can get funds from Rehab. Ordered eyeglasses also today while making my rounds. Rehab. pays for that too hopefully. Took 2nd test in my class online, got 100%.

Miss you all. Will try to get back to library again.

It was so good to talk to Barbara tonight, I missed her chats being away.
She is still waiting for Circuit City to get her computer analyzed. Said about a WEEK :eek:
She is in complete withdrawal without being able to sign on.

Thank you Di for starting this thread and giving me the correct site's addy. I could not stand it any longer and went out and charged myself a new computer. Circuit City and me had it out today. I never got an answer with them and today was their last day to let me know something. My nerves are just now getting somewhat better. I do know I'm nervous about charging that money but I had to do it for my sanity.

I wasn;t sure if you would get here and wanted to get on and send the link,
I know the cost is scary, but you have the 30 days to even see if it fits your needs, and maybe voc rehab will help. I have a feeling though that comcast did something in there end of hook up that did in the power supply to it.

a new computer...everything will be new and they should have customer support available 24/7 if you have any questions.
I am not good when they go bad...have to call in my better half for restorations etc.

I love my new computer. Vista is so much different than XP.

It takes a bit of getting used to, doesn't it? lol I like it. Lots of little things to play with and the screensavers and desktop displays are pretty awesome. My husband found some cool ones that have moving water falls and stuff like that. :cool:

I was thinking of upgrading to Window's Vista, but I am afraid I might screw something up on my computer.:confused:

Hey you 2. I haven't had much time to really get into learning my new computer as school stuff has me pretty busy. I'm taking 2 classes at the community college and an online course. Plus, I cannot seem to stop cooking for a some of the neighbors here. I hate to eat alone though and it is good to see others eat my cooking.
