Thanks guys,
I had an awesome, awesome day! my flatties are amazing!! They planned a great party and got in contact with loads of my mates - covered my wheelchair in balloons etc.. baked a cake and all that! We ended up with 40 people squeezed into the kitchen!!. I drank far, FAR, too much and ended up with Ben trying to hold me up over a bush.. (ok mixing red wine, white wine, cider, polish vodka, beer oh and candy schnapps never a good plan!). It was just lovely to see many of my friends again who I haven't seen in ages and ages. It was just really brill (and I now feel very loved ;), oh and the flatties (and other mates) have obviously got to know RSD and I quite well - got lots of warm woolie hats, a really soft poncho, fleece arm warmers, fleecy soft socks, books etc (and the important chocolate, alcohol and earrings!) - beats what my mum has bought me (apparently; haven't been home yet) she told me she's got me a selection of text books she thought were interesting.. apparently I have a book on diagnosis and treatment of travellers with mental illness.. (actually, I'm sad and actually wanted the book so I can't really complain). RSD has been pretty awful really - spent most of the day in bed so I could spend the evening up.. but my autonomic system is falling to pieces at the moment so fainted three times (blood pressure drop, loss of balance, pain) and knocked myself out once (GREAT bruise from it! I am continuing to look like a poor abused disabled girl! it's across my forehead.. and I still have a residual bruise and lump from a couple of weeks ago - but friends are now so used to it they just pick me up and tell me to not be an idiot. However as I can't use my electric wheelchair independently at the moment one of the boys was very drunk and controlling it and knocked me into a wall with my foot - I screamed Brendon down and passed out - I can't win! if they aren't dropping me then they're running me in to things!! MEN! However, all in all it was awesome! and.. I was up at my 9.15am cognitive neuroscience lecture AND without a hangover! (but in huge amounts of pain with a black left foot from the door and a nice bruise on my head). Thanks all Love you Rosie xxxxxxx |
Dear Rosie -
Happy, Happy Belated B-Day!!! :circlelove: Sorry to be getting in on this late. But yesterday was so hectic I don't even remember tuning on the computer. Today's better. Sitting here, listening to Let it Bleed. Could be worse. (You can't always get waht you want, but if you try sometime . . . .) much love, Mike :heartthrob: |
