hi Abbie,
I'm on a hill and protected from wind by other hills and power only was out for about an hour or so.
Luckily the sun has come out today and the wind & rain has stopped - so they will be able to get to the cleanup and dry out part of this.

I hope others made it thru OK too.

im totally dry but cold except when the heater is on

weird how a little wind and rain can wipe out so much

 hi clouds.

i bet it makes a difference that y'all get so much rain. the ground has to be saturated already.

we had all that flooding last spring.

i'm glad you are ok. :D how cold is it there?

I just found some videos of the wind storm at the coast-
these people were out driving around and filming at the various places.

here's the link and there are others listed at the side and above it on the page -

I didn't need to watch the videos of the flooding of Centralia/Chehalis, I live there!:o Since Dec. 5th that is all I have been doing...mucking out my dad's place. The City of Centralia has been so wonderful... free trash and now free insulation, sheetrock, and electric plug-ins. Hey, it will help those insurance $$$ go even farther as they can't begin to cover everything that he will need. He lost pretty much everything!

(But the grass will be green!:D)

My daugther and family were ok in OR,but her best friend lost everything.
So they are ok and staying with my daughters home..I don't know how
it works there but you have to have floor insurance in Mo. since we
had those massive floods in the 90's..God Bless you all Sue

I also live in the great Northwest... but on the "other side" of the Cascades.

My son sees an epi at Children's in Seattle.

Yesterday we got over 5 inches of snow and it is trying to snow more...

White Christmas??? more like Christmas night....

Glad to see all Northwesterners survived that nasty nasty storm....
