Heat wave!
 

I can't believe that it's 11:00pm on Jan. 6 and the current temperature in a typically very cold west MI is 56°!!!!!!! I hate to go to bed, I would much rather be outside right now.

This is so great, I hope it lasts about 2.5 months!

Wow-- That's practically tropical! Must be a nice break from the freezes you get used to this time of year.
Here in Southern California,I've HAD it with heatwaves ,so at 11:55 pm it's pouring rain ,it's 39 degrees out and I'm lovin' it!
I have 3 layers on, a warm cuppa sleepytime tea and my window open an inch or two because the air smells sooo good-- Yay rain!

It's not 56 but it was 34 here in Maine last night at 10:00 and this morning it is 32 - I went out to have a smoke and didn't even have to bundle!

keep sending that warm air East Cindy!!!

Isn't this awesome? It's 58° right now! I can only see about 10 feet of snow! A couple feet over there, a few feet over there, a couple more that way, and a few feet yonder! I'm gonna go color some eggs!

We had 63 yest. It's supposed to be warm again today and rain for a couple of days. I know this is just a TEASE, but I'll take it.

going to be in the high 70's here today. the poor trees are budding.

70 tomorrow. I am enjoying that. Outside filling the holes the new puppy has dug. I think she is digging to china.

Here in SW Ohio too. I think it's colder in New Orleans, where Ohio State will play LSU, today, for the BSC Championship. That's good for Ohio State..:D

They're calling for a high of 66. Our record high for this date is 65, set in 1977. I took off my flannels and donned my light cottons, for the occasion. I kept my flannels handy, though, 'cause it's not gonna last.

Tomorrow will be in 60s and the rest of the week will be in the 40s. We're supposed to have lots of rain, but right now it's kinda nice.

It's snowing in California and Arizona :eek:..go figure.:p

We have 3 inches of snow and it's still coming down! :D

It will, no doubt, hit MI and OH, next week. Jan. is Ohio's biggest snow month, so, we're not done yet...not to mention MI...Hahahahahhahaha!!!:p

I knew it was still winter when I got the mail and the plowing bill was in there...:eek::thud:

We've had ten plows so far this winter...last year we didn't even have five!!!

I hate winter.:mad:

We are having RAIN, Fog and 60 degrees. :)

It was 70 degrees here today with lots of sunshine. It felt wonderful sitting out on the deck! :D

Get ready everyone east of me, major league thunderstorm coming your way, big hail, some tornado threats and tons of rain. It's quite a show!

But, it's after 9:00pm and it's still 63°! Loving it!

It was 63 degrees here today! DH went coin-hunting and the ground wasn't even frozen! I was shocked by that! We've had a lot of cold and snow, but apparently not enough yet! :confused: He found a really cool large penny from 1842. (He absolutely loves treasure-hunting.) :heartthrob: Needless to say he had a very good day! ;)

our low temp yesterday broke a record..for the highest low.

we reached 80 yesterday. :eek:

Another snow storm blowing through here today. We are expected to get 3-5 inches of snow! And another one on Thursday! Winter is here! It got down to 18 late night and it's 30 right now!

We had the howling wind all day yesterday and the storm went mostly north and east of us. We're mid 40s and sunny today. Lovely.:)

Yes, Cheryl, we'll have cold and snow by this weekend.:eek:...It's not over 'til it's over.
