Actually, it is pretty cool. There is so much to explore and so many things we have in common not only with MSers but others with neurological conditions. It's pretty cool.

Don't be afraid to ask anyone about the "toys" here or the forums! It's really great!

And you know what! The chat room here is really cool! It's very user friendly. It's like a lounge room...Doc set one up just for us! It's nothing like other chat rooms!

There are lots of nooks and crannies here to explore! And like the Mods said, if you have any questions or don't understand anything, just ask! They are very happy to help!

another fun toy....

you can change the look of the fourm. change the "skin". at the bottom left is it has a little box that says default with an arrow. the arrow gives you menu to change the background.

oh...and if you want to save your pm's...you can download them as text to your computer. that way you won't lose email addy's or home addy's that y'all share. i saw where someone posted that all their info was gone. :(

Hey, we have something in common. I was the 'new kid' in the 8th grade :)

I'm excited about this place too....so much to see, so much to do....but what's better than being the new kid alone....is that there's many of us new kids together :grouphug:

I was always a new kid. I never had a lot of friends in school because I was always at a new one!

:girl(sad):I just remember how cruel kids could be and how insignificant I would feel.

I had an odd last name also so that gave the meanies fuel for their fire.

Even to this day I wonder why people form cliques and are exclusionary.

The one thing I learned from my experiences was to be inclusive. You expand your horizons, meet some wonderful people and learn to share.
