OT - Superbowl ?????????????????????
 

I know there are football fans here. Although my team is not in it, I still have to pick a team.:)

So, I have picked the NY Giants. Since I am a Yankee's fan and a Jets fan.

I grew up on L.I. New York, but lived in R.I. half my life, where everyone is Red Sox and Patriots fans.

So,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,who are you routing for in the Superbowl?;)

I am happy that we are playing the Giants though, not because I think they would be easy to beat but I'm glad they had a good season.

Just for the record, I grew up in Boston and have always been a Pat's fan too. So many people say "oh your just jumping on the bandwagon because they are winning!" Not true. Always been and always will be! :Excited:

I know. I have always been a Yankee's/Met's in baseball.

Then in football, Dolphins and Jets.

Most of that makes sense since I grew up on Long Island.

When I lived in RI. OMG everyone was Red Sox, Patriots. and I worked in MA.

Now I am in the sunny Southwest - AZ where the Superbowl will be.:p

In vegas most people are ick Raiders fans! I was in a room full of Raider's fans on that famous snowy day, not fun!

Oh, well....how's the weather in Vegas? Love it there, been twice, when I lived back East.

Now I am only a 7 hour drive North and haven't been since I lived in AZ.

Got to get there. We have 3 casino's here, but not the same.

It's been kind of cold! I had ice at the end of my street around noon!! That's unheard of, usually the sun is so hot even in winter. Other than that it's been nice, sunny as always.

We make fun of the weather forcasts in the summer, the give each day in a seperate column and it always says Hot & Sunny!

I avoid the casino's, it's too easy to get caught up in it when you live here. I have a few times and it's great when you're winning but when you are losing you end up pouring all kinds of money into it trying to win again.

Do you have the Indian Casino's? I knew California had some but I didn't know AZ did.

I can't believe we are the only one's posting on this, I know there are a lot of football fans here.

Yes, we have the Indian Casino's here, they are about 45 minutes from where I live in Tucson. I have only been 4x in the four years I have lived here, usually when someone visits.:Bow:

It's in the 60's here in the winter, drops at night though.
The summers are hot hot hot, but as we say it's a DRY heat.
I don't miss the winter's back East AT ALL.:Thats-Funneh: I watch the weather forecasts for the North East, then talk to my friends, ugh, then they send my pic's of snow. LOL

Well a week from Sunday and we will be like this...:mf_swordfight:

It's been unusually cold in Vegas the past couple of weeks. I dont miss having to shovel the car out but I do miss the seasons. We have been going up to Mt Charleston to get our snow fix.

Well here is an interesting update from my neck of the woods.
I work at Raytheon up here in MA. I speak frequently to people down in the DC area. Now one of the guys in Reston, is a huge Jets fan and a fan of anyone who is playing the Patriots. So we made a little wager. Whoever wins, the loser has to wear the gear of the winning team at work and have a picture taken of them doing so.
Luckily I live in an area that you can get Pats stuff at CVS! So he better watch his back or his office will be decked in Pats gear!:D
