Hello and welcome to NeuroTalk. Great to see you have come to be with us. You will find a great number of caring, supporting members here willing to help each other as they can. You might try in the classify items link for a machine. If you don't mind me asking do you or a family member have sleep apnea? http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum55.html Again welcome, looking forward to seeing you around. Darlene:hug: |

Hi, Mccg52! :Wave-Hello: Welcome to NeuroTalk!
Feel free to join in anywhere and let us know if we can help you in any way. :) |
Now I will really make you laugh at me. How stupid I am.
I have one sitting in my closet. I did the whole sleep apnea test thing years ago. I went twice. They put the electrodes on my head, I looked like a creature from the black lagoon. They told me I had sleep apnea and I was given this machine. I was given a mask that also made me look like the creature from the black lagoon. It was actually two machines, one was a humidifier. It had to be programmed. I changed masks two times. I couldn't use this thing again if I tried. So what do I do every night?? I use Breathe Right Strips. Best thing I ever did. My nose is wide open. I breathe just fine and I sleep through the night. God bless these things. Melody |

Hi HOn.
I am so sorry but it's not mine to sell. It's the property of the company that gave it to me. God forbid they should ever want it back. They call me from time to time and say: How is the machine? and I always say: "Oh it's fine" It's over 7 years old. I don't even know how to use the darn thing. Perhaps your insurance can hook you up with it. They most likely have smaller, newer models, wouldn't they? If I could find a mask that would be simple and not make me look like the creature from the Black Lagoon, I might even try and use it again. But why not buy the Breathe Right Strips? They even sell them with Vicks embedded in the strips. Have you ever tried these?? They also have stuff that you spray down your throat that does something so you sleep better. They have amazing things in the drug stores. I'm always buying the latest gadgets. All my infomercials are up on youtube. When I buy a new gadget I make a video and upload it to youtube. You take care and I'm so sorry I can't help you out with the bi-pap. Melody |
