Stupid groundhog. I should drive over there and shake some sense into him. I only live about an hour and a half away and we certainly didn't have sun here. Fool doesn't even know that the shadow he is seeing is because of all the stupid camera crews and their lights!

Ohhh he is such a pretty little "hog" he can't help it - he is just the messenger... ;)

I just wanted to reach through my TV screen and pet him in spite of his bad news....

Is it ever anything else?

My DD (5) is learning to spell and write sentences in kindergarten, and her class learned about Groundhog Day yesterday. On a page where it asked to give a Groundhog Day's prediction, she innocently wrote, "He will see his shadow." LOL :eek: And sure enough, it was beeming with sunlight here in MO this morning.

That is so special!!!

I'm looking forward to spring, but still holding out for a good snow yet. :)

Weather is perfect here. Not quite warm enough to swim, but almost.
We are expecting some relatives on their way down from Wisconsin for a two week vacation.
Spring will arrive across the nation and we here will be wishing for cooler weather. :cool:

Okay, there is several inches of snow on the ground, temperature is now 38 degrees, and we are having thunder storms. Does this sound normal to you?

Tammiloo....My Dad lives in Heber City and says the same thing! You've all been buried in snow this year...more than I have!! It's -7 degrees today tho...so no Spring in sight here!!!

Who knows where "Toad Hollow" is......but if it's in the North East, I've got sub zero temps on its path to you! The Weather Lady said last night that we will be -20 for the next few days :eek: You'll all see it in about 7-10 days :(

It got up to 78 here today. Warm yesterday too.
The 'peeper frogs' are out.
Not sure of the technical name...

Yesterday I noticed some trees BUDDING already. Pretty unusual this early in Missouri, usually happens in March when they bud and then we get hit with cold temps. Supposed to get hit with a big snow storm tonight . . . DD (5) will be happy about that!

I think I would rather have the winter storm warning on my TV...

I too would rather a snow warning which by chance we do have tonight, deb needs to call her ma down in arkansas to make sure she is ok, cant get through right now so hopefully its just weather related
