Meet our furry children!

I thought I would start a thread about our "furry children, as we've had so many people recently who have had health problems with their "children". Meet DYLAN. He is our Chocolate Lab, and although he is quite healthy, he wants to become a part of the forum as well. I hope you'll give him a warm reception and a pat or two.:)

OK, I have 3 fur babies. My 13 year old Siamese cat named Mocha is my avatar. She is my baby girl.

This picture is my 11 year old Boston Terrier, Sierra. She loves to go for rides in the wagon. The kid pulling her is my 11 year old son, Michael.

This one is Midnight. He is our evil cat. He does, however, love my 7 year old and allowed him to dress him up for Christmas.

Chris 02-02-2008 01:21 PM

LOL! Both Sierra and Michael are adorable, but I'm a little more partial to Michael as I am married to one as well.;)

Sierra looks as if she rules the roost in your home, and Michael seems to be enjoying it as much as Sierra.:D

That is too funny! Midnight seems to be smiling in the first picture!:D

I'm married to a Michael, too. The one in the picture is a Jr.:p

As much as Sierra wants to rule the roost, really Mocha is in charge.

This is Gilbert, he's 5.
http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k2...25-07_1521.jpg

He is so funny, he knows for sure when I'm sick. He's not a loving cat that likes to cuddle but if I'm sick he is right at my feet all day and sleeps with me. Sometimes he even knows when I'm sick before I even know I'm sick.

I'm pretty sure it was an evil smile. He's probably thinking " ok kid you dress me up, but I'll get even when you are asleep tonight".:D

The first one is my buddy Brodie. He is half rottweiler/half terrier & is so much fun.

The second is of my beautiful Daisy that I lost in December. She was the sweetest dog ever & I miss her a lot.

I have a cat named Lucky too. She's 18 & lives up to her name considering how mean she is.

I just can't imagine life without my furbabies. You know that you are really into your pets when your Vet becomes one of your best friends.

hollym 02-02-2008 01:28 PM

OK, how do you guys get larger pictures to post? Mine just come up as thumbnails!

They are both lovely! I'm terribly sorry about the loss of Daisy. It's like losing a family member, isn't it?:(

I use Photobucket also, Holly. We keep almost all of our photos on there in case our computers were to crash. You can always get to them from any computer as long as you remember your log in name and password. It's quite secure if you make your account private. I highly reccommend it.

sugarboo 02-02-2008 01:40 PM

I forgot to mention "Pidget"...she lives here too...she is Murphy's mommy....My DD cat that she rescued pregnant...we kept her, gave away all but Murphy to good homes, then had her fixed :)

What a great looking group of furbabies!

Chris, that is an awesome picture of Dylan. He is so handsome.

Holly, I'm so glad to see your real kids too! I've always loved your picture of Mocha & Midnight has that look in his eyes like my evil cat. And Sierra looks like she is living the good life.

Julie, Gilbert is one handsome dude!

Greenjeans, what a great looking group! I'm like you too, I've always been surrounded by lots of pets. Can't imagine life without them.

When all else fails, I'm can always remember to be grateful I have them in my life. ;)

I love seeing everyone's furchildren!

Tinkerbell is a red stag miniature pinscher and Scooter is a black and tan dachshund, and at almost 16 he's my grumpy old man. :winky:

These are my pups....Bandit is on the right, she is a mix we are not sure of what! Newman is on the left and is part chihuahua and somehing else! They are our babies!

suzyqz_2007 02-02-2008 08:05 PM

These are my babies and I miss them so much! I left them with my mom (she lives in the peace and quiet of the country and has plenty of room) when I moved to Houston. I didn't feel it would be right (or comfortable for them or us) to bring them to a small one bedroom apartment in the big city. The were both strays who found me...they just showed up and decided they were gonna own me! lol

I LOVE the name Newman. Michael's favorite TV show is Seinfeld. He tries to watch the reruns every night and we have the entire DVD collection. I think Newman is MAD FUNNY on that show!!:D

No, I wish I could though. They are in TN and I'm in Texas. But I know they are well taken care of and one day I'll have a place big enough for them. Whenever I talk to my mom the cat gets in her lap and rubs on the phone and purrs, it's like she's talking to me! lol

My fur babies

My fur babies are in my avatar pix.
Get out the magnifying glass, cause I can't figure out how to post it any bigger.

The lovely hound on the arm of the sofa is Flash U B@#^$*d, so named because he decided to make a snack of our new leather sofa which was delivered two hours before his 'snack time. DH threatened to use HIS hide to fix the cushion.

Th lovely Lady in the middle is Ashleigh Victoria, our Princess, Diva And Alpha Houndette. She is a spry 9 years old and definitely keeps the boys in line.

The big galumph on the end is Neville B Longwaddle, we have had Nev for a year, celebrated his gotcha day yesterday.

Flash & Neville are adopted from TriState Basset Hound Rescue..Ashleigh was bought from a friend , who was clueless about bassets.

They keep my day very interesting and my life would be so very dull without them!!

They are both lovely, Greta. Do you have a photobucket account? You can load them onto there and then copy and paste the img. link from that account onto here and it will show up that way. That is the only way my husband was able to show me how to post. The directions are actually on the photobucket site. Nevertheless, we are able to view your babies.:winky:
