Dang it! The Pats lost!
What a bummer. I think they got a little too complacent. :o
That offensive line just didn't take care of their Brady man at all! |
Ditto :)
NYG defense was amazing, though...have to give credit on that side as well :) |
I was in such a hurry to watch the game I took a pre-game nap. LOL from 2:30 to 10:30, I had a spotter though, DW watched it, even the commercials were bad?

That and all the missed passes...:( Too bad...no parade for us this year! ( When the Pats win the Super Bowl they do a tour of New England and in Maine we have a parade and they bring the trophy and everyone gets to see it...We had the Red Sox and the World Series trophy here again last week for a visit too!) |
still crying here...
but I have to say...the GIANTS played well...defense was awesome on that side....and I also have to say we should have had Manning down when two of our guys had him by the jersey close to the end there..uggggg anyhow...go Pats you are awesome....and congrats Giants fans..hugsss,sarah |
:confused::o:eek: I think this says it all.

I think they took NY for granted and thought they already won. It looked like they didn't come to play. Too bad! NY played very well, kudos for them and all their fans!

Great Game
WOW!!
I thought this was one of the best Super Bowls played in a while. It was back and forth and a great defensive battle. Much better than previous games that were blowouts or very blah. The Giants came to PLAY. Their defensive line was awesome, they were really pressuring Brady. Eli finally became the quarterback he had the talent to be and shook off Peyton's shadow and played his own game. The Pats did look somewhat complacent and appeared to be 'sure' they were going to win, just because they were there and undefeated. Bellicheck [sp?]leaving the field with one second left and his post game interviews were in very poor taste. During the interview he never once gave the Giants credit for their awesome game. I am probably biased though, as I never liked Belicheck. All in all I thought it was a great game, one of the best in years. Pro Bowl next Sunday, then football withdrawal for me for a few months...Thank God for the NFL Network. |
I'm from Jersey and we considered Giants ours!!! Great game!!! (commercials not as great as in past though)

Bottom line (pun intended) is when the O-Line lets the other guys put your QB on his butt 5 times, it's hard to throw passes and make touchdowns. We Steeler fans know all about this after this year! Too bad for NE, but NY played a great game.

go away ny fans....
this is a place of mourning have you no sympathy??? :Bawling: :Bang-Head: :Bawling: |
Yeah, DH was muttering like a lunatic.
|
Sorry no sympathy here, go Giants!
|
Patriots, IMHO, took a win for granted. The Giants played hard to win.
DH was happy, and I was happy for him. Me-baseball-Red Sox. I enjoyed softball womens team for many years. Just waiting for the season to start. My friends daughter graduates Boston University, in graduate work now, for PT -Sports. One friend hired by the Bruins, one the Patriots, and I'M really pushing her to apply to the Red Sox. (Shameless, I know) Just to meet my guys would be a thrill to last a lift time. Can't get tickets (DH tried), we'll still try. With my daughter living there, you'd think she could get me tickets, but noooo. They 'don't like sports'. Gotta go LB (Little Brat) my Conure is on the run, getting into trouble... Take care all  Patriots fans, next year ;);) |

we put our predictions in sealed envelopes...
...and then opened them up after the game.
I predicted it: Giants by 3 points. So WEIRD but YAY! I love NY. :) |
