So what ya gonna cook the Olhipie for Supper??

Hey...just wanted to bump this up...I honey is the pickest eater...everyone else will eat everything. I have little or no energy and need some ideas for supper...so give me ideas??

Grilled bacon and cheese sandwiches

I'll confess to the "I'm so tired I can barely see!" dinner...

one day I got home from work... staggering and exhausted from a long day.

got three hungry kids, nothing in the fridge, forgot to shop, no milk, eggs, flour, fresh veggies, fruit, or canned soup, nuffin!

and NO WAY I can go shopping... vision blurry, legs buckling, headache, blah blah blah...

ARRRRRRGH !!!

let the hunt begin!

in the back of the cupboard, I found 3 packages of Ramen noodles, chicken-flavored.

in the veggie drawer, a couple of sad-lookin' sprouting potatoes.

in the freezer - an ancient package of chicken hotdogs.

and on the shelf, a lonely dusty can of VegAll mixed veggies.

in desperation I combined the above stuff, and created a perfectly hideous soup:

RAMEN & WEENIE DELIGHT!

the kids teased me about that one for YEARS!

:D

Chips & Mex Cheese with Salsa.

How about some hints tamiloo?
What does he like, and what won't he eat...?

karousel 02-15-2008 07:27 PM

Pasta and jarred sauce with bagged salad.

tamiloo 02-15-2008 10:19 PM

Hints...

No chicken
No fish

Well, there you go! A quick trip to see The King, and you're set..
I'm not really much of a meat eater, but my family is. Ham steak is ridiculously easy and fast, just boil a couple 'taters to go with it, maybe a lettuce salad..
I'll keep thinkin'..
