Prayers for my nephew
 

I don't do this,until now. But I would appreciate prayers for my nephew. He's just 23, and became a dad for the first time last month. He is planning on getting married at on April 27th.

He was diagnosed with a rare disorder (Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis) several months ago that can lead to kidney failure. He has been on mega amounts of sterioids since then. The swelling in his body increased. He gained then lost over 20 pounds of fluid. And his blood pressure is very high.

He was rushed to the hospital (in Iowa) last night, with signs of kidney failure. If you all could say a prayer for Ronald Tristan, I would be most grateful.

No, he just lives there. His mom (my sis) lives in Iowa and her other 3 children too. One married, and a 15 and 10 year old at home. My brother-in-law was born and raised in Iowa.

My prayers are out there too.

Prayers going up. Jim went through kidney failure and sepsis five years ago, same symptoms. He's is doing very well today and I pray the same for your nephew.

My nephew is fine. False alarm. After testing it turnes out he has a case of food poisoning. Most likely from a salad he purchased from Walmart.

Wow, what a relief, Beth. I am so glad that it was not more serious.

There have been so many food poisonings reported lately. I don't eat out much anymore or get fast food carry-out and I think I'm glad..:eek:

I am so glad it turned out to be something, that was able to be taken care of easily, hope he is feeling better real soon.
