I have a question...

On the sos forum, in the thread Ou812...the thanks isn't showing, there is no place to reply with quote, or even reply under the first 4 posts. Is it my computer? Can anyone else see them? :o

Curious 04-25-2008 03:47 PM

i think the forum is slowwww motion.

i totally logged out and them back in and it was all there. try that?

could be that was mightly hungry elephant. did some munching of buttons.

Alffe 04-25-2008 03:56 PM

Nope! Still not there. I can read your thanks curious but the button is not there for me....I can only reply to the very last post.

Alffe 04-25-2008 03:58 PM

And I tried refreshing the page...that didn't make them show up either. :D

The report button is there on the left....shall I press it? LOLOL

Curious 04-25-2008 04:01 PM

try scrolling to the side...to the right...moi posted some BIG pictures and it stretched the post box.

is it gone for the whole thread? any other threads? or is this gonna be a thankless thread?

Alffe 04-25-2008 04:05 PM

When hubby was in the service, he was a weather forecaster. In briefing the pilots, he said he shall never forget one who came in the building only to say "I thin I'm in process of loosing a FLIPPIN' engine" !! Needless to say, he was not originally from the US! LOL
My son also informed me that Ohio's one of the very few states of the USA that calls soft drinks "POP". I'm trying to break the habit and call them soft drinks or soda (even though those of us that are official old farts recall that sodas originally were served at the soda fountains of our local drug stores!!).

Shirley, this old Indiana fart still calls it "pop"! :winky:

Abbie 04-27-2008 12:23 PM

I call them pop... and so do my nieces and nephews... guess it's a midwest thing...

who moi 04-28-2008 03:05 AM

you should've seen my reaction a long time ago when I was young and wasn't worldly and didn't even knew what a bidet was reacted when a British co-worker told me that she was going to the back to smoke a fag. I almost fainted cause our gay co-worker that everyone really loved said, "I'll go with you."

*faint...

Alffe 04-28-2008 04:58 AM

well I see his "awfulness" has returned. :o :D
