I know with everything that has been going on I shouldn't be doing this but my heart is telling me to go. Tomorrow DBF, his mom and I are heading to CT for his favorite uncle's memorial service on Saturday. It is about an 8 hour ride from here but alls I have to do is lay in the back seat and sleep if I want. There is enough room to stretch and be comfy...

We will be back on Sunday night. Just wanted to let you all know I won't be around but *hopefully* it isn't because I am sick...

I'm jealous! Everybody's having a chicks' weekend! I'm getting on a plane to visit an old friend, too!

I am not doing anything but staying home and packing. and sleeping...geez I am sooo tired.

I'm here alone too. My 2 youngest sisters leave in the morning to spend a week in Florida baking in the sun (they enjoy that sort of thing). Drinking cool fruity drinks (made by their hubbys) and swimming too. All to celebrate my little sis's 40th b-day. Did they invite me...Nooooo!:eek:

We are home......... very, very tired but home. It was a long trip, over 940 miles in three days. The service was very emotional but very nice. So many people in a small community came to honor him.

Sounds like there was a party here while I was gone! Glad you all had fun - I ended up having a few drinks last night myself! :D

Glad your'e home safe and sound, Char. Bet you ARE tired.
