He is due to go in at 9:45 (15 m. From now) but Dr is running late with the 1st surgery. So he should be due around 1-3 CST.

He's done!
Your prayers worked wonderfully, Thank you all SO much. Dr called me just before 12:00 and said she was done and that they were getting ready to wake him up. Dr said it went REALLY well and thats way it didn't take very long, only toke 1 1/2 hour, not the 4-6 like she thought it would. BTW this was to fix a really bad hernia that was all the way down his abdominal area, about 10in long.

beautytransforming 05-02-2008 12:49 PM

Prayers being sent. Speedy recovery and good healing thoughts coming his way!!

Kitty 05-02-2008 03:13 PM

Sorry I didn't see this in time to send my good wishes Julie, but I'm pleased that all went well.

Well the its going slow now, DH is still in the hospital, they can't keep him from thowing up. They are having to keep him druged because his in so much pain (I think a lot of it is from the thowing up and the pain meds are making him sick).:(

Awwww, I'm so sorry that he is sick..:( Maybe they can change his pain meds to something that doesn't make him sick, or is that too simple for the idiots..

I will pray for DH to feel better and heal sooner..

momXseven 05-03-2008 03:12 PM

Dr changed his pain med but this one knocks him out so now he is not up walking like he has to do before he can go home.:(

Thank you (and everyone else), DH finally was able to eat jello this morning, 48 hours after his surgery.
