Pix/Tamiloo, Twink and Olhipie's Zion's Road Trip!!

Finally a picture from Tamiloo, Twink and Olhipie's marvelous adventure...tada...

I think the caption under this photo should read:

My wheelchair is better than your wheelchair...:D

More proof of the off-road race!

I knew it.

LOL

Great picture!

Olhipie 05-03-2008 01:08 AM

This picture was taken prior to my emanate demise.

It should actually read: I’ll race you to that ravine…

kicker 05-03-2008 07:41 AM

Wonderful picture!!!!! Are there any more??????

Personally, I think it's time for the Olhipie to get some sponsors so he can dress up his wheelchair!

He could get the NMSS, a couple of the drug companies, one of the mobility device manufacturers.......Tamiloo could wear a jumpsuit with all of their logos on it. Maybe call the next adventure the Hoveround 500!! :D

Really, though, I'm so glad you're OK. It could have been so much worse.....

I think Tammy should wear a Pinky Tuscadaro outfit and Craig a leather jacket. They could put a whole new spin on what a demolition derby really is!

BTW, that trail scares me looking at it. Craig, you look like your about to climb up the side of that cliff! :yikes:

Craig's lines to the man next to him: "Hey, you think I can't climb up that cliff? Watch me, I'll show you all!"

Tammy, I applaud this last picture. Wow, that could be in a photography book! The colors are amazing! Kudos!

SallyC 05-05-2008 03:19 PM

Beautiful Photos, Tammy...Wow!!

I'm glad that OH did his falling before he came to that revine..

CayoKay 05-05-2008 03:25 PM

oh, it's *beautiful* Tamiloo !!

I've taken my motorized chair out on the street (got accidentally left behind when everyone went to my foster-daughter's graduation, and it was important... so, lol, I drove my OWN-self there!)

but I never took the suckah.... er.... um... "off-roading"

kudos to you, and glad y'all enjoyed the trip... except for the injuries part, of course.

so, how IS the banged-up ol' hippie doin' today?

I worry... and pray that all is well with him after his misadventure.

:hug::grouphug::hug:

Glad all survived and had a great time!!!!!

tamiloo 05-05-2008 11:31 PM

What part of Utah will you be visiting?? We will have to get together...

tkrik 05-06-2008 08:59 AM

Tami - What beautiful pictures. I love Zion Canyon. I have only been there once but I still remember the beauty of it. Of course, I did not get to "experience" the beauty in the way the Olhipie did. LOL.

DM 05-06-2008 09:10 AM

WOWEE~~ Those pics are gorgeous. Thank you for taking us along. I don't like heights, but am so proud of Craig for all he does to show that you really CAN do things you want to do, if the willpower and determination is there.

Is OH still mending? Oh, and great pic of you two!! :)

tamiloo 05-06-2008 12:58 PM

The Olhipie is doing great...he, like me are both starting to get back on top of things.

This picture was taken at the end of the trail for us, Twink in the pink blouse...we started down after this and then that's when Twink was able to witness first hand Olhipie taking his tumble...power chair and all.

Twinkletoes 05-06-2008 02:08 PM

Tammy, I really didn't witness Craig going down and I'm sorry I missed it.

Think he could do a re-enactment? :p:p:D

Glad he's doing okay. He's a tough OlHipie, isn't he?

tamiloo 05-06-2008 02:14 PM

He doesn't remember much except being embarassed and he remembered the little toads...I guess Erin is our eye witness...have to talk to her. They are having what's calle a Race of Ability on Saturday and want Craig to particapate. I'll probably see her then and can get the story...how are you anyway? How did your pictures turn out?

Twinkletoes 05-06-2008 02:17 PM

I'm fine, thanks.

Pix turned out okay, but I have "posting pix to thread" learning disability.

Let us know what Erin has to say. She sure felt bad.

And someone from Common Ground was taking pics as we hauled the OlHipie up to the trail. Those would be something to see!

tamiloo 05-06-2008 02:41 PM

Ask one of the mods to help you they helped me...and I'm very blonde and you speak blonde...so you should catch on right away!! By the way Olhipie told me to tell you he missed you!!
