yeah but iits very very very hard!!!!

we are doing Mary poppins as a choir class but solos have to be from broadway

Mom kept on making me lagh so we took 3 other takes before the final one lol

It's like athletic exercise, isn't it? You can do it!

I love Mary Poppins! I want to be just like her if I grow up!!

Awww thank you sooo much. my mom was sitting there waching and laghing at the same time so yeah i smiled a lot... not like i don't do that anyway:p

yeh i guess. she kept pulling out this little monkey thing over and over. i was like ok shes a lil strange today but she knows i love her soo much!!:hug:

I really miss playing piano accompaniment for my DD -- she used to take voice lessons and perform in competitions. Very fun memories you are making with your dear Mom.

Great job, Lil'Monkey! :) My son used to sing in the choir too. Attending those concerts was such a thrill. Go ahead and get back at that evil mother of yours by singing your heart out and watching her explode with pride in the audience. :p

thank you all for such kinda and encouraging remarks. it helped her to work on that breathing. plus hearing from people that don't listen to her everyday...like the members of the club...mean a lot. :grouphug:

lil'monkey's audition is today. she isn't nervous at all.

hours and hours of rehearsing this week. it's paid off i think.

her choir director seems happy with her song choice. gave her a smile. lol..she can't say anything because she is one of the judges.

she isn't too happy that her director wants all the girls to pin their hair back off their faces and wear aprons. she wants them to look like mary poppins. hehehe...6 ft dakota...would do better as dyke van dyke's part.

she's gonna get me for that remark. :eek: :p
