Back to Class
 

Had a week off - from class anyway - which I am glad I did! But, started back to class again today. I am actually excited about these two classes and think they will be interesting.

Next mode I am taking a business law 2 (started business law 1 today) class and we are going to do a mock trial in the supreme court here in Bangor. That will be soooo cool! I am looking forward to that.


I may cut back next mode and only take one class for the hot summer months. I haven't decided yet but considering it pretty hard. May be good time to take a breather since my body doesn't like hot or cold!

You'll be right Yabbit, but it's great that at least these are classes are ones that you feel good about.

It makes it so much easier if you're actually interested in what they're talking about. I know that from my own Bachelor of Science days.

They are both business related classes and I am working on starting my own so they are both going to help me with that! Makes it easier..... lets see if I talk about the business during class I may be able to write that off??? :rolleyes:

I'm so excited for you! I finished my business degree recently, and I loved the classes! If you really enjoy them, you'll absorb a lot. :) Which other class are you taking besides business law?

Also, I think it's a good idea to cut down to one class in the summer. If you keep going at full speed it's too easy to get run down with all the studying. Keep us posted on your progress! :hug:

Wiz - the other class is Business Economics. I didn't think I would enjoy it but I really like the instructor and it sounds like there really will be a lot of information that I can use from it. PLUS, he is full of information on starting a small business. He asked the class if anyone has their own small business - only 3 of us raised our hands. He stopped all three of us on the way out and said he would like to set up an appointment with us to discuss our business if we didn't mind.

Char, I would suggest taking a little breather for the summer months. Especially since you have had such a rough couple of months and your body doesn't like the warmer weather. I would hate for you to push too hard and loose everything you have been working for. Just my motherly two cents. :wink:

CHAR........How cool is that about the teacher...I think God put him in your life for a reason. He is just the person you need right now....Someone to give you a gentle guided tour in the right direction to your OWN independence!!!!! This is going to be a wonderful Mode for you I just know it is....NOw if your health will just go with the flow....I wanna hear all the deails....

Just goes to show that no matter how many hurdles get placed in front of you, somehow you get over them. Sure, it takes a while on those tall ones, but your determination will always be in your corner.

We'd never jump without a net!! We'd at least have a parachute! Even an airbag would work! A bungee cord! A good buzz even! The bridge is over the Penobscot River! It's deep under it! Or Flygirl!...She could swoop in with her plane and catch us in midair! :p

Next Friday will work for me. I can leave work an hour early and we can do dinner some place?

Jump - NO way. Now if I had ropes I would climb the side with no problem at all, love to rock & ice climb but jumping off NO WAY!!!! Funny, I will climb up the side of a mountain - climb 100 feet up ice but I will not Bunjie Jump!!! Or parachute out of a plane.

When I was a daredevil (age 17) I drove up to Monte Sano in Alabama and literally thought it would be cool to slide down part of it. I did. How I survived, I don't know.

Ooooo Goody! It will be good to see you again and I really want to go to the bridge! Seafood?? :D
