ANyone watch the finale last night.

I thought it was fantastic.

Its like all is right with the world again (sigh)

i didn't keep up with it this season, but watched some of last night. without a trace was a repeat. :wink:

so is rose mcdreamy's red head wife?

oh...man..when what's his name was crying on catherine heigels shoulder..i wanted to give him a standing ovation. that was awesome acting. he reached deep inside to get that emotion.

I missed it. I am going to have to download it from iTunes and watch it...dang it. Had to spend 2 hours fixing sprinklers for a client last night....

I wanted to watch that show...I love it!!!

The writing was fantastic!!!!

so who is rose that he had to talk to?

btw..i do get sick of season endings that are just blow up scenes. :rolleyes: hasn't ER done that atleast 4 or 5 times?:rolleyes:

Meredith and Derrick broke up at beginning of season and Derrick was dating a nurse named rose.

How awesome was the last scene with Derrick and Meredith.

I taped it (haven't seen it yet) for one reason.

The Promo showed all of the doctors walking into a room where a man looks like he's encased in a cement block. And they were stuck speechless.

Any scene that played like that WELL, I HAVE TO SEE THIS SHOW!!

I didn't watch it all season so I'll be able to catch it all in summer reruns. :) Right now I have so many favorite shows, it's hard to get bored with TV.

The kid in the cement was very interesting. Glad that dumb high school girl finally came to her senses!

It was fantastic. I was bumming about our trip and after Greys I was like everything is right in the world. Dh tought I was nuts. :p

FG keep that cement stuff in the back of your head...could come in handy in landscape architecting :D

I mean, HOLY MOLY, I almost fell off my chair. I haven't watched it for a while. The last time I watched it was when the Zaftig doctor was sleeping with the guy who asked to re-take his examination.

What happened with THAT relationship. I mean, they seemed to be in love.

Now lets' get to that SCENE we are talking about. The actor in that scene was OBVIOUSLY very into what he was doing. That was the most graphic (without being graphic), intimate scene I ever saw on regular tv. I'm telling you, when he was grinning, it didn't seem like acting.

So I gather they are having a relationship, right?.

Then she goes outside and there's the female doctor, and she goes up to her and SHE KISSES HER??? WHEN THE HECK DID THAT START??

Is this zaftig doctor a lesbian, or what?? I am totally confused.

I mean, I don't care, I just want to understand the story line. It's been that long since I saw it. The last time Meredith was in love with McDreamy, and I believe he went back to his wife. Is this Rose??

Because at the end of the episode, when Meredith is standing on his land with all the lights, and she's saying 'this is our living room, etc, he goes, I have to speak to Rose, than I can kiss you".

SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT'S GOING ON, PLEASE.

And now for my final misunderstanding.

The doctor with the girl who is obviously having mental problems. (I thought he was her lover). She's in the bathroom mumbling "I know I was pregnant".

He's in complete denial that she's having a breakdown. What is their relationship. I thought he was married to her until he says to her "I just spoke to your husband, he took your baby".

I said "oh, he's not HER husband".

Then she gets committed, he starts crying and the next thing I see is he's begging Katherine Heigl to kiss her and do whatever comes next.

I am totally baffled. I obviously have some catching up to do.

Can anyone kindly put me out of my misery and please clear up these few plot scenarios for me??

I stopped watching this show after the first season.
(same with Desperate Housewives).

Reader's Digest version:
1) Callie and George were married for a very short time and since divorced because he thought he was in love with Izzy.

2) The "scene" you're talking about is Callie with Dr Mark Sloan, who's Derek's best friend and the guy who broke up his marraige with Addison. Now you know why they call him "McSteamy". No relationship there,just co-workers with benefits.

3) The kiss between Callie and Dr Hahn (the female doctor) is a very good friendship developing into something more. I think Callie is surprised by her feelings, which were pointed out to her by Dr Sloan..

4) No, McDreamy didn't go back to his wife. Her name's Addison and she has her own show on ABC now..Rose is a nurse he's been dating.

5) Dr Karev fell in love with the girl in the tub. She was seriously injured in the ferry accident last season,was pregnant,and didn't know who she was. They called her Ava,she went thru surgeries to fix her up and replace her face..Only now is he finding out she has mental problems, and we find out he went thru this before with his mother, so he didn't wanna abandon her (not such a terrible guy at times)..

Here's one for you....Rose is not the wife. Rose is a nurse. She was with McDreamy when he thought he needed to move on from Grey.

The wife? She moved to California and has her own spin-off. It will be back on this fall. I like it better.

Let me tell you something. THEY DIDN'T TELL ME THIS IN HIGH SCHOOL.

I just thought Henry VIII had 6 wives. I went to Catholic High School. Sex was never mentioned. And they NEVER explained how he went from wife number one to wive number 2, to number 3.

I mean, the guy was bonkers. If he didn't want you any more, he cut off your head (oh, he accused you of incest, and witchcraft). This is the woman he left his first wife for, he adored her, and BOOM, she can't give him a son, and now he's looking at Jane Seymour.

I sit there and I go 'Men Suck!!!" and Alan comes in and says 'uh oh, are you watching Henry again??" I look at him and I said again "MEN SUCK!!!"

I get hysterical.

I do thank Polar Express for letting me catch up. I knew that McDreamy's wife, came on board some time ago, and that she was a doctor (and yes, I just remembered that they gave her, her own spijnoff).

But what I don't understand is why, when he loved Meredith, he wound up with Rose, and now he wants Meredith again?? Are these guys fickle or what??

And the storyline about the girl on the ferry. I HAD NO IDEA. How fascinating.

And how sad. I have to go and watch the shows on the internet to see these episodes. They sound like good-viewing.

I will tell you something.

WATCHING MCSTEAMEY during those scenes. Well, I'm sorry I'm 60 years old, that's all I can tell you!!

I read in the newspapers that when you clean your house with bleach, chemical products, etc. well YOU ARE BREATHING IN THAT STUFF. I never realized this. I just liked the clean smell of lbeach.

Well I now purchase all the GREEN WORKS products. Nice fresh scent. Save for environment, safe for animals, safe for kids.

Safe for my husband's skin, etc. etc. lol

So I am officially a green person.

And I used to use ammonia like crazy. Oh brother.

Well FG I have a list in my office of all the returing shows and the dates they come back. Both Practice and Dirty Sexy back in the fall. Dirty Sexy is a hoot! And I think Brothers and Sisters is the best show on TV....I so want to be part of the Walker family.

Lost lost me last season. I stopped watching it got too off the original storyline. I hear this season is good though.
