Thank you! : )

It's been pretty good. Slept late, went for dinner with the parents to a steakhouse I like, and I'm about to eat some cake in a little bit. (mine!! the cake is ALL MINE!!!! yes, I'm greedy! :D)

Only wrinkle in the day has been an extremely dry eye. (the right one) It's a lot annoying, but at least I've got lots of eye drops.

I'm having a serious problem deciding on what I want for my birthday from my dad. He's given me a few options (a puppy, bunch of crochet and knitting things, a Sony Reader) I just dont know what to choose for my present. So, I'm waiting a bit. I'll probably end up just getting a knitting needle set...cheaper than a Sony Reader, and will probably get more use.

I just bought myself a b-day present. Ran out to the yarn store and loaded up on a bunch of yarn I'd been looking at. (it was on sale. I HAD to buy it!) Really excited about that. Not sure what to make with it all, but I LOVE buying new yarn.

I dont think I'm going to do the puppy. Just not sure with the MS carp going on that I really could be fair to a puppy. Plus, I might be allergic and until I find out for sure, I dont want to fall in love with a dog that I cant have.

But, I do absolutely ADORE and love puppies! They're better than chocolate, and that's saying a lot for the puppies. Dogs are one of the best inventions ever. Hopefully I can get myself another dog some day.

Oops . . . sorry I missed this thread and your birthday party yesterday.

Happy Belated Birthday!

Maybe you could try volunteering at a animial shelter or something, to see if you have an allergy to dogs? OR, it may just be long-haired ones or something . . .??

I've been thinking about that. I might volunteer to work at the Nebraska Humane Society. At least I'd get to play with the doggies.

I've been crocheting little blankies for the humane society. They give them to the cats. (dogs chew the blankets)

It was good! Just got home from my date with the boyfriend. Went to see IronMan. I wanted to kill an entire row of teenagers who sat right in front of us. They were texting to each other, talking back and forth, and kept waving their...darn...cellphones around like flashlights. I really wanted a cellphone jammer...and something to suck the battery power out of their phones from a distance so that they'd stop waving them around and irritating me and my sore eyes. (I have extremely dry eye this weekend)

If anyone needed adult supervision, it was those kids. I really wanted to take their phones and smash them with a hammer.

The rest of the day went good, Boyfriend bought me earrings to match a pendant that he bought me last Xmas. Black Hill's Gold. The earrings are small, but they match the pendant and I think they're really cool. Plus it made him happy to take me to the store (Cabelas) so I could pick them out. I think he enjoys doing that.

He told me he doesnt want anything for his birthday. Anytime I ask him, he tells me he doesnt want anything (same deal with Xmas) I'm still getting him something when his birthday gets here. Not sure what...might just crochet him something. I feel weird not giving him something on his b-day which is in a few months.
