Mary has been missing at that other site too. I used to pm her occasionally, but lost her contact information when they did away with pm's there. Hope everyone is okay and just taking a break from their computers.

its summer time! they are out enjoying themselves and riding their bikes, and walking their doggies, and enjoying visits to the Grand Canyon and family that live far away.

Mary is super busy right now finishing up school. Cheryl finally got in touch with her and she's doing well, but working hard.

I had lunch with Putterfit yesterday and he said that Jayne has a houseguest and doesn't get much computer time anymore. I need to get in touch with her - she lives really close.

I spoke with lburdockfriend, Laurie the other day. She is still at the women's house. She's also getting ready to start Novantrone this week or next. I told her to keep in touch and let us know how she does on it. She has no internet at the women's house so she has to get to the library to log on.

She's also made a list of four things to do that she has always dreamed of. One being bungee jumping!, :eek:, motorcycle riding, :cool:, mechanical bull riding :eek: and one more I can't think of. lol :p

i see lburdockfriend, Laurie post every so often in games forum, but have not seen Bird post in a while or alyson, and i lost alysons email address so i cant even see if she is doing ok, didnt Gigi say she was taking some time off after recooping from that accident?

I got an email for Robin (The Bird) a couple of days ago. Her kids are out of school for the summer and I think they are staying busy with summertime fun. She is doing well otherwise.

Didn't Gigi get a dx of something other then MS? Seems like I remember her posting that she wouldn't be around as much and we all jumped on her letting her know that she didn't have to have MS to hang out with us!! :D

I think I saw a post from Alison not too long ago.

I talk to Mary (mbsews) on the phone and she's busy as all get out. I do need to give her a shout again so will pass along that she's missed!!!

Debbie, we are a relatively small forum (we are growing :yahoo:) and some notice when active members haven't posted for awhile.

This kind of thread is done in the hopes members might just be reading and encourage them to start posting again or a least let us know their doing okay.

I am concerned about a member but prefer not to post the persons username. I hope this person lets me know their doing okay :(

I don't think it is cliquie, these are all people who have participated a lot in the past. I don't think that makes it/them a clique. I don't participate much so nobody is going to ask about me (or others that don't participate), but I still feel welcome to post on any thread when I have a wild hair to participate.

Huh?????? I think this is a great thread :D! I can't imagine anyone being able to include every person who hasn't been on NT for awhile. He!!, I'm lucky if I remember people who I'm used to seeing online daily, LOL;).

Debbie~ I really don't understand why you would post what you did. I try very hard never to hurt anyone's feelings here or judge, but in this case, it's just a thread showing concern for others. NT is a LARGE community and such a warm, caring place; every member is as important as the next.

There are several members who have been going through alot and usually post often, so when they aren't heard from, people worry. It's just a common fact that some members have met each other or have communicated between themselves, therefore~ they are closer.

That does not mean they are in a clique.

Okay, okay, clique, club, caring. Whatever. We can't please all the people all the time, so let's get back on track and work harder toward the primary objective of this thread— pleasing ME.

Anyone else have reports on others who seem to be MIA?

Yep Mary sent me a pm back in Feb also. She said that her life had become busier and she wasn't going to come to the forums often.

AMN I think it is wonderful that you are trying to keep tabs on those that haven't posted in a while. That is what I LOVE about this forum! Everyone cares about everyone, even if a name gets forgotten! I just call it an MS moment :p

I have met some special friends on this site (even though we haven't met in person). If it weren't for all of you then I think I would be seriously depressed. You all have supported me through a divorce and an IVSM treatment. But mainly, you all make me smile, everyday!!!!! Thanks :grouphug:
