I am trying.... I put together a slideshow for my family and for my myspace page. I cried, but I did a lot of true smiling too!! Its the first step. I wanted to share them with the people who have helped me make it so far too! Thank you for all your support:hug:

Thank you :) The first photo is my all time favorite, as a little girl he spent most of his time overseas in the Army....I would just stare at it for hours, I thought he was just the most handsome man in the world! You're so right to treasure these pictures. Sadly I have very few photos of my own mother and father, and as they both passed away around 20 years ago, I'll not be getting any more.

I have been working on the slide show since after his service, only breaking to go to his grave......and yes the butterfly was right there on the yellow roses I left him.......yes abbie...chills is a good word.....

At times I just sob my heart out, I can still hear his laughter, that chuckle before his face would break out in that huge grin. I am indeed lucky to have these...right now they hurt still.......but I can't seem to stop looking at them.
When the tears dry up, I find myself smiling at a memory......as is the motto here ...baby steps ;)

I emailed this to my brothers and sisters....and wanted to share it with you.
