finding favor
 

Hi ...

tomorrow (monday, June 16) .. I will be travelling to check out 2 apartments .. both are about 2 hours from where I am now ...

it's all a good thing ... and a new start for me - I'll be able to finish school and work on helping others with my crafts, etc ...

I'm asking for prayer about finding favor to 'land' one of the apartments this week so I can move by the end of the month ... the landlady wants me off her property .. trailer and all ...

and, I'm asking for prayer about finding favor with my Legion that when I tell them about the move and relocating ... that they will accept my trailer either as a donation as a hunting shack .. or to tear it down and cash in on the scrap metal .. and have it done by the end of the month.

it's just hard for me to even ask for help ... and now in a situation where I'm forced to move out ... is very humiliating ...

thanks for your prayers .. many of you already know of my situation ... I'm just in need of prayers for peace, that I make good decisions this week ..

Sorry you have to move, but it sounds like you are determined to make the best of it!

I will remember you in my prayers and hope that you will find the apt. that's just right for you! Is your landlord just picking on you, or are others having to move also?

well, my landlady is tired of waiting for the assistance programs to help me get on my feet (no true income since Sept) ...

but, the move is a good thing - I was planning on leaving ... and now have the extra push to 'do it now'...

in fact, I'm excited ... and have two weeks to move, unpack and get back to school after 4th of July ... it'll all work out!! THANKS!! :Thanx:

This will work for you, Vonn. I know it will.....I had a long conversation with God and He said that we're not to worry. He is in control and if we just let Him work in our lives we'll be better for it.

There have been many times when I just had to let go of my fears and let Him take over. It's hard because I felt like I had to have my hand in everything that was going on.

You're doing everything in your power to make your situation better. That's all God wants us to do. He'll do the rest.

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and hoping that you find the apartment to be exactly what you're looking for.

I'm sorry that I'm a little late, but I'm sending you my prayers anyway. Your situation is a bit like mine. I went to see a house on Sunday and a trailer today, trying to find me a place that's nice enough and large enough for my girls to come spend time with me after my impending seperation from my wife. I know it can make you feel nervous and a little apprehensive. I actually have a decent chance of being able to rent the house with the payments going toward a total purchase should I decide to go that way. And it's so nice!

thanks misshayleesmom, you can uncross them now!! God is at work ... and things are coming together .. this will be a great new start for me ... and thanks to me already learning what I can and can't do MS-wise ... it's all new to me - and I have a real peace about it all.

thanks, AMN - I learned that we are like little birds - praying for help (but sitting with our wings still fluttering) ... then get up from praying and decide that He didn't answer, so we flit off and do something dumb! ... we need to just sit still .. and give Him a chance to answer ... He always knows what we need - even before we ask!

Thanks, Chemar ... there were some unexpected instances yesterday - and I was ready to knock them down ... but, when the situation unfolded - it was so much better than I had even imagined!!

Kelly - I know you've been hanging with me from the beginning ... and I thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and cards of encouragement ... the miracles that happen with just 42c .. thank you!!

Idealist - it is difficult deciding .. especially when you have someone help you - you don't want to hurt their feelings if you don't feel it's the right thing for you! I had to be kind to tell my friend that I truly thanked her and appreciated all the help - but she needs to take care of herself .. and it's okay to let me go .. it'll all work out .. the best to you with your new home - and to pay into the downpayment to purchase is an awesome step!!

so far, the financial situation for the housing has been accepted .. one down, a couple things to go!!

still have a ways to go - but, I feel right about it .. and after talking to the gal again today - she mentioned July 1 or that week .. she understands about my needing to get out of here in the next 2 weeks ... and did I mention that she has a sister w/MS for over 25 years ... and has been so understanding - sorta like a kindred spirit ... she keeps saying it's 'seredipity' about me coming there ... I know that it's God's doing .. because it's a good thing! :Popcorn:

just to let you know that God has heard our prayers and cries ... and right now - I'm in the midst of a miracle taking place ... as I just posted in INSIGHTS ... I'll be offline for about 2 weeks to pack, move, unpack and get set up ... will fill you in then ...

hello hello ..

I can move into the new pad (assisted living for disabled and seniors) ...you have to be independent to live there .... I move in on Friday!!!

thanks for all your prayers and thoughts ... and now I can relax and get situated without feeling bullied!

plus, since I've been out of the trailer - I've actually been feeling better .. still hurt, but definitely feeling better!!
