Wonder Thread #106

I wonder at how nice it is to have our NT member DejaVu join us in SOS.

I wonder at how the very first thing I saw getting on my computer tonight was the marvelous post from BJ. Oh how glad I am to see her post. ((BJ))

I wonder how David is feeling now and if his pain level is little to none. I hope so.

I wonder at how nice it was to speak to an old friend of 43 years this morning for 2 hours. We had some catching up to do. She and her husband are retired air force and live in the Sacramento area. She continues to beg me to come back out there for a visit, and I so wish I could. We have a ball traveling the coast and such.

LOL I wonder at my last trip out to see Bev in Sacramento and we headed down the coast for Carmel to visit a friend. And we ended up meeting Clint Eastwood at his marvelous ranch restaurant. Decided to head south of MOnterey and I went berzerk with my fright of heights on 101. She has a fear of bridges. We were such a pitiful sight tryi8ng to get down that coast, LOL.

I wonder at what a tinderbox it is in California. She said fires start so easily. Up by north Tahoe they had 40 lightning strikes (no storms) and all 40 started fires. Her neighbors 4 houses down had their home burnt to the ground when he put a cigarette butt in his garbage and the savage winds caught it and ended up burning down his lot and home. :(

I wonder how absolutely gorgeous the weather was here today. I took Bruna for a walk a short while ago. We found a stand of water where many birds were taking baths and with the backdrop of the sun we could see the sparkles of the water flying from their wings. So we parked ourselves in the grass and watched and listened to the birds and the soft wind, watching the beautiful white fluffy clouds float by above.

And then we came home. Blah. Sunday night is here again! Another week of work. Lordy I am so tired of work. :p

I wonder if I should make myself clean the litter boxes before I retire for the evening.

I wonder that he finally made choccy chip cookies with the KitchenAid mixer I gave him for his 10th b-day! I wonder if you all know that we've been honing his baking skills since he was 5 so that he could receive a fire engine red mixer of his very own? I wonder if I set a precedent that I'll be able to afford to repeat for each of my 6 grandkids as they turn 10??? :confused: I wonder how proud I am that he can make cookies totally without help, except getting the cookie sheet in and out of the hot oven?

I wonder how happy I am for Alffe and Barbo to have a little GTG? I wonder if they'd send me some of that shrimp salad? :D If wonder if I'll ever figure out what the heck Alffe is talking about (see first post) a sparrow and offending me? *shrug*

I wonder that I don't remember seeing Aarcyn post here for a long time? I wonder if she'll be able to come to the Phoenix GTG this Saturday or if she's going somewhere fun with her DH?

I wonder if Goofy really wants to see my grandson's new thug/neo-nazi/skinhead look, LOL! Actually it's cropped from a huge picture with a group of people at a picnic, and the lighting actually makes it look like he does have some hair. My guess is that his hair is about 1/8" long, if that.

I wonder if I should post the entire group picture of the 'gang' on their picnic so Nohope can see granddoody's love, Heidi. My goodness, she's an older woman at 4 and granddoody won't be 3 until August 2, LOL.

((Wren)) thank you and yes, isn't my daughter just absolutely gorgeous? There are pictures of her that just warm my heart. Her beauty comes from within as well. She's always been a polite and social little butterfly since she was a little girl. (And she looks like her sperm-donor father.) My little boy does have 2 very handsome parents, but then...I'm not biased. :rolleyes:

I wonder if YESSSSS CURIOUS! I immediately thought of grandmonkey when I saw granddoody's hair!!!! I remember that very well. (I hope you don't mind that it was a picture I shared with my daughter and son-in-law and they laughed and thought he was so cute. They have a special place in their hearts for the 2 of you for sharing such wonderful gifts with g-doody.)

I wonder if there has been a lack of wren husbands this year, or whether the female wrens are becoming more amoral leading to an increase of the number of unmarried females having babies?

I found the cutest story of wrens so I am posting the link for you here. Sometimes those males toot off and find a home for another wren. Very fickle little males. A breed 'em and leave em' kinda guy (not unlike my daughter's father, LOLOL).
