This is totally cool

Another "why didn't I think of that" I love brownies but hate middle pieces. Check out this brownie pan, every brownie gets two edges. Yum, I am going to order one soon.

But.. but... I like the gooey middle... meh, not that much.

I saw those awhile ago at Bed, BB and I'll be curious to hear your review of it.

With the way my hands work, I don't think I could hold a bowl and spatula in the position to get all the batter inside the runnels. Be sure to keep us posted on this, Earl.

I am the same way - I bake my brownies in a cup cake tin with cup cake wrappers. It was so easy for the girls when they were younger for them to eat them and everyone one of the has the crusty edge!!!

I like the middles, but it's a cool idea. Bob likes the corners.

Edges are OK but I'm a center kind of person myself :winky:

lol..not to hijack...but for family gatherings..works awesome for just about all side dishes. especially dressing.

saves lots of time if you serve buffett style. everything is scooped out. just take as many as you want.

yep earl...the crispy crunchy brownie sides are the best. grandmonkey likes the middle.

MSacorn 06-28-2008 10:34 AM

Ooh, I love the edges. I'll have to send this info to Dad. He makes the best most chocolatey brownies and we both love the outsides. Coolness  Thanks!

's

I also use a muffin pan for my brownies. Correction, I used to use muffin pans. I hardly ever eat brownies anymore. ;)

*cindy will get me if I confess too much*

Good idea.....but I can't pay $34.95 for a brownie pan!!!

Besides...I like the gooey middle pieces.

ewizabeth 06-28-2008 01:53 PM

They make "Cake Strips" that keep the edges of cakes and brownies from baking too fast and becoming hard, the whole thing bakes evenly. They work really well.

Earl if the pan doesn't work, let me know the next time you make brownies. I'll come over and eat the middle pieces for you!! :D

Twinkletoes 06-29-2008 02:38 AM
