OT:Sleepless at SOS

I decided to make a whole new thread for those of us who are awake when everyone else is asleep.
..........http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...ies/sleepy.gif

I couldn't use Night Owls as a thread heading 'cos that was already taken, and I did love the Sleepless in Seattle movie, so Sleepless it is.

I'm hoping that people in SOS who can't sleep, will log in here and say :Wave-Hello: to each other!

It will not work unless people use it, and so here's me....the very first one saying hello!

I'm on line if anyone wants to chat.

Also 'cos I live down under, I'm often on line when others aren't.

Just letting you know........:circlelove:

What a great idea Anne!! Keep us out of trouble when the lights go out LOL
I am still having trouble sleeping, even with the medication. My mind just wont stop the thinking.... http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ff310/3161.gif:D

Koala77 07-06-2008 03:42 AM

Sorry I was slow replying Nikki, but I was trying to arange airfares to meet an MSer who has been so very kind to me.

After a very long time of chatting on the Internet, and never meeting in person yet, and it looks like the end of the month will be the time for us to finally get together.

It means me flying to another state to make it happen, so that's what I'm organising at the moment.

Hope you're doing OK. Good luck with your garden. Do you have any firm ideas yet?

Nik-key 07-06-2008 04:16 AM

Oh Anne that is soooo wonderful! I have met people I met in a TN forum, you become so close! I hope you have a fantasic time together:hug:

I am doing ok for me :winky: I am at the moment shaking I am so tired and well the sleep just will not come. I am seeing my neurologist on Monday, I need to try an prevent another TIA if I can.

OK, I am going to try to at least lay down. Will check in on you tomorrow:hug:

Koala77 07-06-2008 04:22 AM

Goodnight Nikki.

Sleepless here to...

It's almost morning... no sleep for me! Wasn't on line though until now. Was reading, then watched a movie. Some nights are just like this.

Thanks for the sleepless thread!

Koala77 07-06-2008 05:35 AM

I hope by the time you read this that you've been able to nod off for a little while Friend2U.

Normally I'm on line around now, but as you may have read I'm trying to arrange a short break interstate to meet a lovely on-line friend.

Hugs to you F2U:hug:

lets have a snack Koala sister

tovaxin_lab_rat 07-06-2008 09:25 PM

Will it turn into a prince if we kiss it, K77?

Koala77 07-06-2008 09:27 PM

Hmmm! I'd like a slice of that BMW please!

And funnily enough I got an email a few days ago that would have been a perfect reply to your Q FG, but I deleted it. It was the cutest, silliest short UTube thing about an Ozzie who kisses a frog. I sorta wish I'd kept it now! :(

tovaxin_lab_rat 07-06-2008 09:30 PM

I think that piece of pie is getting around a lot, BMW...Is that the same one that you were passing around on another thread? :D

Burntmarshmallow 07-06-2008 09:31 PM

I dont know about kissing a frog and it turning to a prince but if you lick the frogs spots...it may well look like a fine hunky of prince in 10 mins . :p

Burntmarshmallow 07-06-2008 09:33 PM

nawwww this is my special key lime it is going round peice by peice .

Koala77 07-06-2008 09:44 PM

Looks so yummy!

We can't grow limes in the state I'm in now....much too cold. This is the state that grows apples and stone fruit.

We just moved from the state that grows all the citrus fruits. What a shame I didn't know about this 12 months ago! :(

We do have a huge lemon tree that's very productive though. Lemons are one of the only citrus fruits that grow in our climate here.

tovaxin_lab_rat 07-06-2008 09:47 PM

We can't get key limes here nor most citrus here in Idaho. It comes from the grocery store!!!

But I have a nice peach tree in my backyard!!

Alffe 07-06-2008 09:47 PM

What a great idea Anne, cept I'm on my way to bed right now..*grin. (grabs a piece of pie on way up stairs) :grouphug:

:vomit:

Koala77 07-06-2008 09:56 PM

I've never seen a red grapefruit, but the yellow ones are much too bitter for this delicate tummy of mine.

tovaxin_lab_rat 07-06-2008 09:57 PM

Red grapefruit is very sweet! You'd love it K77!

Burntmarshmallow 07-06-2008 09:57 PM

Burntmarshmallow 07-06-2008 09:59 PM

I need a cuppa lemon tea no ice sun tea sounds better b.b.s.

Koala77 07-06-2008 10:05 PM

I don't know if you read my last night's post about trying to arrange airfares to go visit a very sweet MSer who I've been writing to on line know for about 18months.

Would you believe that from when I checked out the airfares last night, to going to pay for them this morning they had gone up $100. I almost didn't book! For us on disability, $100 difference is an awful lot of money. I'm sure that finally meeting this lovely lady in person will be worth every cent.

What a shame I can't come to the states for a simialr amount of money! :(

Let me assure you that I enter every single competition now that might get me there, or that has goods that I can sell to pay for the airfares to come meet you all.

This is a woman on a mission! :D
