Ummmm...Ms. Chejvly...very important message for ewe...

:Poke: just wanted to remind you that in a couple of weeks, it'll be August.

so you'll be up for a name change soon. If we live like Magazines, you'd already be CheAugust.

but please remember that August starts with a vowel and Che ends with a vowel.

So you'll have to drop the "e" and become Ms. Chaugust. Now, you may NOT like the sound of that but moi thinks that you'll really like being Ms. Chaugust. Please let moi explain!

August is named after the first emperor of Rome, who was a right hand man to Julius Caesar (circulated July 13, 100 BC – March 15, 44 BC [stabbed by Bruno from Popeye])

Augustas'(cir. Sept 23, 63 BC - August 19, AD 14) original name was Octavius Thurinus. I think it means "8 Inus every Thurs" or something like that.

Rumor has it that he liked to flirt and touch the girls, so they called him Octopus behind his back. But his mom liked to bake pies, so some also called him Octopi...when he turned red from drinking too much wine, they called him "Stop Sign"

(anyways...)

Caesar (no relations to little caesar's pizza) http://www.fastcasual.com/images/Lit...sar_Pizza3.jpgrealized that and changed his adopted nephew's name to Augustus.

So had not Caesar changed Octavius to Augustus. You would be known as Choctopus...

And even more, the Romans used to spell their "U" as a "V" but pronouced it as "W" (Latin, anyone? LOL)

so, you might've end up being "Chavgvst" That would make you a chavvinist...and I don't think that is allowed in this here them forum,eh? LOLOL

plvs, I like Chavgvst mvch better than Choctopvs

so, congrats to yov, Ms. Chavgvst in svch an important month where we celebrate the first emperor of Rome that was a knovn Octopvs.

tanks, btv, for taking svch good care of this here them FORVM....

(and yes, many says moi is nvts)

Well, Moi, while your circular logic squarely makes sense, the nonsensical must be addressed.

In her original form, Chemar displays an abbreviation of the month. So, technically, and here is where the etymological engineering figures into the equation, my most august argument is that her proper name would become Cheaug. This approach also lends itself neatly to Che8/ but, we do not have sufficient grounds to call her a cheat.

This name leads us to two other continents, namely because of the celebrated Cheaug Won, a charming Chinese eatery found in the UK, conveniently located in Harrogate, Leeds, and Yorkshire.

Since our venerable Chejuly has, in fact, resided in London, the above option offers a more appropriate application of the original theory.

Have your people fax my people.

Nappy, this post was so well done that it has left me speechless (I know, hard to do, ain't it? )

I have to really really give this some hard thought after I get some work done, hopefully by the weekend and come back with something...

I love a challenge but I have to admit, you got moi...for now....LMAO....

Tell your people to NOT to step on mwa's people. Blue SPLATS are very hard to clean up off the floor...

this is what happened when I stepped on one of them the other day...

Ahem! We do need a verdict here!

*Much later in the day...*

She seems to have chosen an Italian take on things! "CheAugusto"????!!????

who moi 08-01-2008 07:55 PM

ahhhh, this took awhile but here goes:

nappy, while your trignomical riposte was octogonally scintillating, I have to beg to differ in what you're suggesting with moi's own ratiocination.

To start off, although Ms. Chejvly (who is now Chavgvst) had resided in London, in the American Butt Thread, she had thus revealed her ancestory of muttiness.

Welsh, Portuguese, Dutch, Prussian, and English with a hint of hug-o-nuts and French Vanilla melded together into South American

in Dutch, the month is called Augustus :D
in Portuguese, the month is called agosto
in Welsh, the month is called: Awst

And since the "W" in Latin is spelt with a "V" and pronounced "W" thus bringing her name back to Chavgvst. Pour moi, it is more important to name after oneself after one's ancestory rather than where one had resided.

Otherwise, moi would actually be called, Moe's and Bick or Ja Booty (Djibouti) (no, I didn't really lived there, but ya get the point. ;) )

If this forum were "spoken" in Portugal , her name would take on da form of Chagosto

and since she didn't sell her soul to mephisto, Chawst is outta the equation as far as moi is concerned. :D

no where did she mentioned that she has any ancestory in Chinese and I think she's allergic to MSG thus we can simply knock out Cheaug Won cause it would be illogical for expect Ms. Chaugust to type Chinese in NT and then it would only be advantageous to moi. ;) Besides, August in Chinese has the phonetics of "ba yua" thus we'd have to reverse the Chinese in English form backwards to contour to Ms. Chaugust and name her: "Chauyab"

Whilst in her abbreviated version she was known as Chemar, she has proven herself to be a worthy, diligent and sedulous admin. Thus moi thinks it is only in reverence to her, dat there should NOT be short cuts to her name.

On top of that, in English, it is a standard rule to drop the vowel after a vowel when two words are linked. That's called a guillotine which refers back to Ms. Chaugust's French Roots where Notorious Mary had lost her head.

When one pieces together all the facts, it is only reasonable that Ms. Chaugust be called Chavgvst.
