Added: i wonder if anyone read my other wonders on the other thread. i had the number of replies per page set differently then the default so when i posted i was on page 2, but then i swithced it back to default and i hope cuz its on page 3 now i didnt get ignored:(

I met vteck a few years ago when he was coming out of the cheers bar in boston I got his auto graph but didnt have a camera with me. I am not jealous he is a nice guy isnt he.! :D

I wonder if people know it tickles me pink to hear Obama speak. It feels like I've been waiting my entire lifetime to hear a "leader" speak from the heart without any malice towards anyone. The cherry on the top is I can claim him as one of my own - finally something other than "mobsters" representing our fine city. :D I can even relate to his racial background and experience. :cool:

I wonder why no one ever speaks of former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. He suffered a mild stroke in 2005 and was treated. He suffered a subsequent massive stroke, and it left him in a vegetative coma. He's not dead - why doesn't anyone ever speak of him? Is it because the standard treatment they gave him after his first stroke CAUSED his second stroke - because the first stroke was caused by a rare illness Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy (CAA)? As morbid as it may sound, after he had that second stroke I was hoping there would be some dialogue on amyloid diseases. :(

I wonder why a local policeman in the parking lot of a grocery store challenged my husband to a fight? He was sitting in his squad car outside the store as my husband approached the entrance. My husband said the policeman looked directly at him and gave him "the look" - something my husband said he hasn't seen in years. I wonder that I also was able to copy some one-of-a-kind Polaroid pics and some old black and whites. Even a 1935 pic of my father standing in front of the old wood panel truck that lost its brakes on the way down a windy mountain dirt road. I wonder why I had never seen that picture before? I wonder that I'm getting all these pics ready to create a big collage in honor of Dad's 95th b-day this week?

I wonder if you all know how fun it was to have my grandkids, ages 5 (tomorrow!) and 10 spend the night with DH and I. I wondered if Emmie would ever get to sleep cause she kept hearing a mysterious "scratching" noise. :eek: I wonder how fun it was to have her sit beside me at church today, up at the piano.

I wonder what a nice dinner we had last night on the (newly cleaned) patio under (newly installed) rope lights. I wonder that the weather was absolutely perfect with no bugs!!! And the BBQd marinated turkey steaks were perfect!

I wonder if I can tell you how MeSsed up my brain is: we had purchased 600 lbs. of white wheat for long-term food storage, that needed to get transferred into 6 gal. storage buckets. So I went online and printed off a sheet that told how many ounces of dry ice you need to put with the wheat to preserve it for a good long time.

I wonder how in the world I thought we needed 40 POUNDS of dry ice??? I wonder that my DH looked at me kinda funny when he saw how much. And then I wondered if he'd ever quit reminding me that I goofed up: you only need 6 oz. of dry ice per each 6 gallon bucket!!! :eek: Ooops! I wonder how nice it was that the store refunded my money on the 30 lbs. of leftover dry ice. :rolleyes:

I wonder how Cheryl Flygirl will enjoy her week off? I wonder if she is going someplace fun? I wonder if I read somewhere she was having a private GTG with another board member or if I just made that up???

I wonder about Addy and if I remember to "befriend" her? I wonder that I don't know her so well, but hope to know her better.

I wonder if I can let sweet SpanishMoss I feel literally physically crappy and have most of the week. Daughter and SIL and g-doody all have had bad summer colds (they are going around here), but worse...g-doody was diagnosed recently with strep. So, my chest is icky, my head is icky, and my throat hurts. Goin to call the doc tomorrow.

Oh, I wonder that my poor ole pa is sick as well and at 87 i don't like that. He has the chest crud too. Everyone has been put on those z-packs.

I wonder that I called my supervisor to ask her...would you prefer I come back into work tomorrow feeling this way...with possible strep...or go see the doctor first. Well...she laughed. Hey! Just tryin to be nice! I can't afford to use a lot of sick leave but I also know what it's like to have sick people walk around work well...sick! Professors are the WORST abusers of that!

I wonder that my entire life was spent trying to be a 'fixer' of men who were 'emotionally unavailable' and I really paid for it with my own emotions...not to mention physical ailments.

I wonder that some powerful storms went through Iowa today and tonight and thousands are without power. Uprooted trees, planes and cars and trucks flipped over, tornado touchdowns, flash floods. Sigh. But we were on the edge of it here.

I wonder that I forgot to mention that whilst the severe storms were going on, there was a shooting not far from where I live at the gas station I buy gas at.

And then a big car chase with police. He shot the woman at the gas station, shot a policeman who apprehended him in another town during the chase (policeman is hospitalized and expected to live), and then he took his own life in the next town. It was a man who told his girlfriend that if she went to work he was going to kill her. She did so he did. My guess...domestic violence. :(
