Away for the weekend

Just a note that I am thinking of you all and will be gone for the weekend check in. We are leaving early tomorrow for a long weekend at Niagara falls. My step daughter is in a theater production as Mary Magdeline in Jesus Christ superstar in North Tonawanda. So we are making a long over due trip to the Falls. Katie was a toddler the last trip and now almost 13, in October. Oh and our anniversary is the 15th so it will be nice.....I hope.

So an anxious drive to there. It is 6 hours with a stop to get a bite to eat. Although the way I travel sometimes longer. I stop at outlets, pottys breaks, "Are we there yet". One thing I still have such trouble with is traveling and axiety. One Ativan to go please. I do hope that takes the edge off. The xanax makes me too lightheaded.

Friday weather is not so nice :rain: and chilly. Hope Sat. is nicer. We are going to the winerys on the rainy day and dinner at Niagara on the Lake. :Starvin:

But have a nice weekend all, just know you are all thought about. :grouphug:
catch me up Megveg when I get back,
di

Oh please please have a wonderful time! I'll be thinking of you on your travels and pray you make it safe. Enjoy the weekend! I hear Niagra is beautiful (I've never been).

I have this whole weekend to write out everything to catch you up. Be ready for a novel when you get back. :)

Good luck and your trip and be safe!

We're Baaaacckk

Well I had a wonderful time and would loved to have stayed another day, but Katie's anxiety was too bad every day we were there. It hit at night. She did not want to stay overnight, she wanted to be home. Cried, sobbed and shook. Finally got her to sleep, her dad wanted to just leave in the middle of the first night, or first thing in the morning. When we woke up, she got up good, dressed, makeup so out we went for the day.

After we got over to the Falls though, Katie gots some amazing pictures and we took her to the butterfly observatory, bird avitory were she had butterflys and parrots landing on her. The museum was gone though. She spent TONS of money, that was her Glee. She discovered outlets with her sister and us yesterday. We had great Italian food, fish and chips and Greek yesterday.

Over 300 miles and I did OK. I did take the ativan though. Physically from the walking I am very sore, back, hip, upper side of the thigh and feet YIKES.
I did not get to the American side with Katie. She just refused another night even at her sisters house. Maybe next year.

Tomorrow I register her for the homeschooling online. They have a registration session locally. I wish she would go to the middle school but she is adamant and after this weekend it is useless to hopw she would be ready. She needs to make that decision herself, I can;t force her or she will refuse.

Opps, another thunder boomer moving in. Most of the day and into tonight we have had hail and lots of lightening.
Thanks for all missing me, Meg, I saw the sea gulls soaring over the Falls and thought of you my sparrow with your wings spread and swooping in the clouds.
Wish we had another day to this weekend, but her comes Monday!

WOW What a small world Shelley! She had the theater in the park. They just moved to 7th street off Oliver. There is a great community pool there! Slide, kiddie pool.Quiet town.We stayed one night at the Anchor Motel. $58 a night, then at the step daughter a night. I really love the town, have to see the carosel museum next trip.

PS: You know how men say about getting in your pants, lol....hubby put on these pants in the AM and thought gosh the waist is tight....then realized they were size 16 not mens, lol he wore my pants all day!

Here is a butterfly that wanted to come home with me. Walked with me as I went through the butterfly observatory. I talked away to it, lol
