LMAO! NOT A MILLER LITE!!!! That storm has no heart!!!!
|
Tom,
Are you and DW out of the storm cellar yet? ;) :D Who gets to clean up that mess? :) We had tornadoes locally, with our local airport clocking 93mph wind gusts. No damage here thank goodness, but some homes had roofs and homes destroyed by falling trees. Some people are still without power and won't be restored until the 3 day mark. We only had one flicker where DH's computer restarted. Our sons who have a bachelor pad a couple of blocks away, were without power for 12 hours, go figure. |

Oh, the Humanity !!!! |
Dearly Beloved,
We are gathered here today To mourn the passing of a wonderful friend A son, one of 6 brothers Sudsy was a good ole guy Canny, light on his feet A little wet behind the ears But genuine His life was tragically ended before its time As we pour out our sympathy for him And look through the frosty glass of time We recall his bubbly personality His full bodied laugh His joy of tailgating And that he had a good head on his shoulders We will all beer witness To the mystery of life and death Raise you heads and hands Tap into a higher power Fill your spirit from the keg of hope and happiness Drink from the fountain of eternal life Savor the moment And go forth and mourn no more Sudsy, you will never be forgotten. Tom, I am so sorry for your loss. |
A wonderful eulogy! You always were good with words...
Tom |
Bowing head, dabbin at tear, listenin to Gazelle, and wrappin arm around Tom's shoulder.........
This too shall pass my brother....take two asprin and call us in the mornin' |
those of us here in the northwoods would call that more of an 'abuse' than a loss ...
just gotta be more protective and supportive of your 'friends', Tom!! |
I haven't laughed so hard in a long, long time!! Thanks Tom, I needed that.
|
Geez, it's only an American beer. Now if it was a Molson's Canadian, then at least you'd have reason to mourn about missing out on a little buzz. :stirthepot:[
:D Cherie |
But, Cherie, it was a MILLER LITE!!!!!
|
That's alcohol abuse. How dare that storm do such damage.

Guess what? My b/f (here from Georgia) drinks Molson Canadian, and I drink Miller. :D I am a contributing member to your economy, and you would miss me. ;) Cherie |
During my trip to Edmonton, I had Kokanee (not bad) and Alexander Keith's Pale India Ale (not bad too). Also had either Tennants or Yukon Arctic Red. Whichever one it was, it was really good! I think it might have been Yukon as I remember a slightly darker beer (but not along the lines of porter or stout).
But my poison of choice (with apologies to Miller Lite) is Guinness. Quote:

Yes Gazelle, I do buy beer. I just don't drink it!! Our beer drinking friends were here from Salt Lake and wanted real beer so I was the designated beer buyer. |
