The amazing artists at NT...

log: 08-06-08

I have been in this darned funk as of late...I felt creatively empty...

I felt vulnerable and I felt like my head is going to explode from emptiness...

then, I remembered something...the wonderful artists here at NT.

Artists, photogrphers, poets, writers..

but for now, pictures say a thousand words to moi...

I browsed through some artworks and I hope that I can post some of the artists' works because they have made it public...

Finlady's MS Blues

tkrik's Color of Water

SandyC's temptation
(but I also like her "ice cream Jesus" and patiently await for "fishing Moses")

lefthanded's Mount Olympus

jaime s' oil paintings

suzyq's photos

Ctenalouise's calendar photo

I am sure there are many more treasures here at the NT...

I felt a little bit more alive right now after seeing some of these arts and photos...

just wanted to thank you guys and that if anyone would like to share their artworks and photos, to please post it and make this fool feel alive...thank you...

:)

Wren 08-06-2008 07:55 PM

aaaaaaaagggghhhhhhh I'm bawling now/again.
All the neuropsychs, neurosurgeons, neuros, everybody keeps telling me that brain tumors and brain surgery do not harm "talent" (they use that word - I don't) but .................. whatever small ability, small drive (large drive?),whatever, seems to have evaporated and ....... well, I sure miss it. I sure miss it.

SandyC 08-06-2008 08:03 PM

Oh my we do have talented artists here! Those are amazing Wren and Curious!

Moi, your now giving me the itch to start looking for Moses. See what you've done?

Twinkletoes 08-06-2008 08:25 PM

Those are some fabulous creations you uncovered, Moi!

Keep posting, everyone! :)

who moi 08-06-2008 08:26 PM

wren,

it's beautiful...please keep on posting, you have no idea what it means to me to see you post your artworks...the rabbit...it just makes me go awwww....so real...

curious,

I love them, they show case your personality perfectly, fun, quirky, little queen kongny at times. LOL and it is beautiful...

Sandy, I will wait patiently...I love how creative your artworks are and when they need to be smooth, they are smooth, when they need to be rough, they are rough, and at times, they are smooth when rough, rough when smooth...thought provoking it is!

I needed to see these...it makes me feel alive...

9 years ago, I started ticcing so bad on my right hand that it would take 2 minutes just to write my name, 4 letters...

I started to learn to write and draw with my left hand...

and then, life caught up and I never learnt to really draw with my left hand and now, all I can do is draw circles and lines and not much else...

I would like to learn to draw with my left hand as well as my right..some day...

I needed to see these wonderful works today, wren, curious, and jo...
and I needed to revisit those others, Sandy, tkrik, Finlady, lefty and others...

it made me feel alive today....and I needed it...I needed it..

Hi all,

You're all a wonderful spark!

"At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us." - Albert Schweitzer

I've had the great opportunity to meet many friends with MS who've created wonderful art and lighted the spark within me.

I'm collecting links to YOUR art work, post your link at:cool:

I've posted a work titled, Blossom

"And the day came whe the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." Aniais Nin (1903-1977).
