I am flying to Kentucky Monday to look for a house.

I will be there for the week. I still can't believe that this is
happening. I am very nervous and anxious. I hope that I find a
house in that week. If I don't then I will have to make plans to
move and live at my son's house until I find one.

Leaving New Jersey is a little scary. I have lived here all my
married life and then some. If DH was still alive I know we would not
be going there, because he loved his fishing and the ocean.

But had to make the decision to stay or go where the kids are. Family
comes first. It's just that all the new drs. that I am going to have to
find. Then maybe they maybe better then the ones I have now.

So I am reaching out to my NT family to wish me luck in finding a
house and a safe trip.

If its anything like Michigan there will be lots of houses with some low price tags.

As Sassy pointed out, if the market there is anything like the market anywhere in the country right now, you should have your pick of homes! ;)

Good luck Jappy :). There are so many homes for sale right now I'm sure you'll find one :). Moving is tough, but you'll have your family near you which is a huge plus :D! We lived in PA my entire life and moved to FL about 3 years ago. I haven't regretted it except when I miss my extended family :).

Safe travels Jappy! Have you checked out realtor.com to get ideas on what or where you'd like to live? Many realtors list on that site. My uncle referred me the site and I found the house we're in now.

Thanks Everyone for your good wishes. This will probably be the
last time I will post for awhile.

I will be back from Kentucky Aug. 18th.

I am involved with 2 realtors there and when I get there I will
see who will give me the attention and support that I will need in
finding a house.

I just hope and pray that my body can handle the shopping for
a house. I will have my cooler with all the stuff to keep me cool and
hydrated. Oh almost forgot and my cane.

Going to be busy the next 2 days getting ready for the trip. Everyone
have a great weekend and will be in touch when I get back.
