The Sun is Out!
 

For about three weeks straight now we have had rain every single day - today the sun is out it is beautiful!!!

I know I shouldn't be so happy but rainy cold weather and I don't get along..... heat I don't like either but today is good!!!

Guess you need the "bad" to appreciate the "good". I like it 65 and sunny, a gentle breeze. I get that about eight times a year, and I'm usually at work that day. Oh well! :D

Thank goodness huh? New Brunswick has been very much the same. 3 weeks of rain. I'm feeling SO much better today seeing the sunshine :)

Please send the rain our way...we NEEEEED it bad!

They've been calling for rain all this week, but, so far, the sun has been out with temps in the low 80s....lovely..:)

It is just beautiful today and from what I understand going to be like this till Monday or Tuesday - I am not complaining just loving every minute of it!!! :sunchair:

Amen, my little lambchop! Too much of anything can wear on the soul. We've had the most remarkable summer in my memory over here. Only a few miserable days and the rains have been kind enough to stay on third shift most of the time.

The thought of fall, and... *gulp* ...the rest... is just too much for me right now.

Well, what are you doing here? Get out there and enjoy it!

I was on the back porch sitting on the swing with my laptop! I certainly was enjoying all I could!!!!

we have 17 inches more rain than our normal rainfall. I had tomatoes rotting in the garden, and my poor lettuce just hated it! it was rotting!

The sun is a wonderful thing, as long as the heat and humidity stay away. Fall is coming! Fall is coming! cooler temps, pretty leaves, apples! punkin pie! cooler evenings that you can snooze through without sweat.

I'm wondering where she saw summer!! It rained here yesterday...it rained again today. There was a break or two but did it stick??? Noooooo...today's thunderstorm was a CRACKER!

I ran and unplugged every electrical appliance in my house, regardless of whether they were surge protected or not! The only thing I lost was the splitter on my phone line and I had another one in the junk drawer!

WHERE IS SUMMER??? I WANT IT NOW! It's gonna be freezing in like three weeks here!:mad::hissyfit::Sob:

It's going to be so hot here today so the sun is not our friend today. They say it's going to be high eighties even by the lake in Chi town. Ugh That means add about ten degrees to our neck of the woods.

I want it back too! Today was more like fall than summer! We didn't get the storms you did! I heard Portland got 1/2" of large hail!

Oh yeah, the humidity is what makes it worth the trouble! NOT!

It was so bad yesterday while I took down my 9 foot lilac that I paid the girls next door to drag the branches to the burn pile. I couldn't breath and my chest was heavy. YUCK.

Don't worry, it's not going to last. Weatherman reports that severe thunderstorms and rain are on the agenda for tonight and tomorrow again, BUT- after that is gone they say clear and sunny until the remains of Fay hit us Sunday or Monday!!!:yahoo:

The shoreline's a LOT closer to my door than it was a month ago! If the rains keep up, I won't have to wash up, I'll be able to land on my front stairs!:mad:

We've also had some beautiful sunny days. It's been rather crisp in the mornings with light frosts snow on the highlands, and top daytime temperatures in the 60's.

I cannot believe that it's only 2 weeks until it's officially spring. Yay! I love Spring!

oh Koala - you are getting ready for spring as we are looking at fall...... so we will be cold with winter while you are bathing in the sun?
